Hey Kin!! The update is awesome! Just wondering though, could you take a top front photo? I did prefer the more angled chamfer =).

I always buy goods more than necessary.
So... I ordered the factory to make overflow of tx1800.
There are some tx1800 for latecomers.
If someone want to buy... send email to me... with order form.

You can do it.... I have seen Dolch with Leeku 1800.
Also there is a part for Dolch indicator LEDs in Leeku1800 pcb.

Thanks! And sorry for all the questions, just 1 last one, is there documentation that goes with the board on how to solder it up, because just looking at the dolch adapter I am confused.

Why would anyone want to still use an ancient Dolch keyboard casing when you could have a fully manufactured, all aluminum TX1800, this I do not understand  ??? ?

Price, and I like the look of the Dolch case personally. I want to put one of these in mine so I can have LEDs with Hyperfuse, so I might order a PCB and plate.

Weight mostly. Seeing as the 1800 layout is great for general office work and these should work perfect in a plastic G80/G81 case.
I'd hate to drag 4 Kg of aluminum to work every day. I did it with my Orion once. It was worth the look of surprise on people's faces when they tried to lift it and found out it was damn heavy. ;)
Slightly cringeworthy were those that tried to lift it with one hand. :X

It's the weight that guarantee's when you go for an hour long coffee break (my fave time of the day) that when you come back, it's still there on your desk safe and sound  :thumb: .

If you bought an extremely light keyboard some pilfering sh1t-bag will have their way with your keyboard and you've lost it for good with all those sweet GMK key-caps, then where would you be?

Sorry, factory made black and grey samples. Not silver.
Because silver housing makes little problem.
grey is hard to make the color which I want.

Uh wow....  :o :o :o
Will never have a sliding keyboard problem anymore

You need to lay off the KY jelly sunshine because too much use of it here is not good for certain apertures  ;) .

Normally I would cheer on your enthusiasm but we here are serious keyboard collectors and users of fine input devices.  Besides you should of ordered a nice BIG Black Coloured Keyboard like I did for some serious hardcore action because you know that famous saying once you go Black there is no turning back  :thumb: .

the heavier the better... thanks for keeping us updated kin, a lot of the other GB threads seem to go insane as soon as OP stops posting or is gone for more then 24 hours...  i really appreciate the hands on approach.

thanks for your mention.

waiting for arrival of yours can be exciting or boring.
I don't want you to be bored.
so.. I keep updating something happened (even small news).

I think that GB is very unfair. (in every keyboard communities)
The Seller >>>>> The Buyers.
Why? It's not fair.
You have a right to ask to ME.

I'm ready to listen to your demand.
(PLZ don't ask something huge... like saving the world... ) :)

It's always exciting when a fellow 1800 zealot gives us all an opportunity to own something so unique as this type of keyboard  :thumb: .

I do not envy your position in extracting 1000's of CherryMX keys, then cleaning and lubing each one.  That alone would require someone who has nerves of steel and the patience of a saint.

Whatever you do take your time and approach the work with complete assurance that NO ONE HERE will be forcing you to finish their keyboard in time.  Everyone here appreciates the enormous effort it takes to build new keyboards from scratch and assembling switches to finish them.

Have complete faith in you to do us justice in supplying EVERY hardcore 1800 lover their dream example of a customized keyboard.  Thank you for doing this  :thumb: .
