I am not a part of this group buy, but reading through some of the pages it seems like this is a very, very well coordinated group buy with lots and lots of updates. Always nice to see something like this. Great job! :o :thumb:

Very impressive.  I had no idea there would be so much manual labor involved in fulfilling this group buy -- certainly not by the organizer himself, anyway.

These updates are excellent!

The colours are sexy as  ;) .

I only went for the plain Jane Black print on beige keys because it'll match the black coloured casing of my TX1800 keyboard.

So far your Group Buy looks to be the fastest one ever concerning the design and manufacture of everything besides the keyboards themselves, looking forward to seeing when you'll commence assembling them soon.

Today, I received these parts from beastmask. (He sent to me free of charge. thanks for beastmask)
I wanted to send it only PCB&PLATE buyers.
It is useful to make removable cable with stock 1800 and 3000 housing.
I also bought cable (pcb2pcb 4line) and headerpin... but they don't arrive yet.

My Gift for only PCB&PLATE buyer is
1) usb mini connector and this small pcb
2) pcb to pcb 4 line cable
3) a couple of 4pin headerpin.

It's very cheap. but it is not easy to buy.  ;D
when all parts of my gift are ready, I will post again.

Also, I am looking for a gift for tx1800 buyer.  ;D
(not big gift, but useful thing)

Can anyone be a proxy for me here in the USA? :'(

I don't know who made it first.
Some koreans have made it.
The price was around $10~$16.
I thought it was very expensive.
so I want to make it by myself.
Now I think it was not expensive.
Making is not easy and it takes long time.
I am selling Switch Opener $6(a pair of them).
It's my mistake to fix the price $6.
But, I don't regret.
My tools will be used well and easily, it will make me happy.

Today, I take a rest and design a new housing.
Keyboard inspire me and stir up my deep creativity.

That's what happens when you love something so much, Kinnie will do it despite it costing him heaps of his own time and money.

Please make sure you align the costs correctly because this current exercise could end up costing you heaps out of your own pockets.  Know you want to share this love for the TX1800 series keyboard but at what cost to you?

I'm no keyboard designer/manufacturer but I work at a place that repairs and maintains fleets of huge vehicles and we can not afford to undercut our workers or facilities when providing a 24/7 service, neither should you.

Because you have spent so much time already on this take a deserved break from this since this is the only way to recover from such a punishing schedule you've set for yourself.

I'm a teacher.
(math, science, technology)
I work for a private institution for education. (for middle and high school students)
These days, it's mid term test season.
(in April)
so I become busier.
I don't like teaching.  ;D
keyboard helps me to relieve stress.

Some students asked me to repair their keyboard.
But.. Most of my students can't believe that I have more than 200 keyboards. :)
