Well I just want to see enough interest in this thread, then move onto official IC before group buy. Getting imsto to do them sound good? We also need some SP blanks unless you guys want the imsto caps :\

Imsto of course. Don't really care what caps we use, whichever would be easier I'd say. Unless majority wants one or the other.

I think a proper IC filled with images, prices, fun giveaways will get the most interest.

My thoughts are copyright issues. With imsto we don't need any permission to use images. With SP we couldn't even do something that was close to Totoro.

Does imsto have a MOQ for designs? Or just for caps? If the latter, we could do many different anime/manga that have less interest as well.

Yes Anime keycaps group buy please. Also I know they've been done before so maybe add some Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist ones to it. Also thinking of this for the "L" keycap kinda like the Mario, Luigi and Wario ones:

Next idea I had was the Playstation Symbols, maybe for WASD, Arrow Keys and Modifiers.

I'm super new to this forum and I'm still waiting on my Ducky Shine 3. I think it'd be nice to see a guild wars 2 profession emblem as a keycap with the backlight glowing the shape of the image. I don't know, is this impractical?

How about roughed glass? Would that work for keycaps? Would be awesome in my opinion, because isn't glass fairly strong? Would look great too.

I know IMSTO had a couple of keys with logos of famous basketball and soccer teams.

Maybe you should run an Interest Check to see if other people are interested in such keys. You will need 20 orders per logo to get it done.

My idea has nothing to do with cosmetics... more with typing feeling and sound :

Just got a brand new compaq 11800 with nice MX brown, but keycaps look very cheap compare to what you can see on old keyboards. It's made of light plastic with no reinforcements, just a thin cross under top of key, so my idea is to make them heavier and more solid by filling them with resin (epoxy for example) up to cross stripes top (if you fill more the cap will be unusable).
Pretty sure this would enhance typing feeling and typing sound as some keyboards are noisy not because of clicking switches but because of this kind of light-built keycaps hitting the switch case.
