Hey,
So I've used this feature in other forums and found it really successful. The idea is that there is a button at the top of the page (probably under new replies) that marks all topics in that forum subsection as read. If you click it on the main forum page it marks all topics read.
The idea of this is that it makes it easier to acclimate to the community. When I first join I was overwhelmed at the number of topics ; truthfully I still am. Having a clean slate at which to start and really facilitate joining the community.
It's also a nice way to ignore that cap you're not interested in
.
It shouldn't be too difficult to code... Pretty easy SQL
I am dumb.

Wow.... Thanks
No worries, I use it every Monday morning then read everything all week, then get behind on the weekends and then do it again the next Monday.
