I thought the mold was done but it turns out it is OK. It appears that the space bar defect is coming from.my mold and not the resin or injector.

Red ish FN, space bar, and ESC key. I messed them up pretty good because I thought they were done curing but I guess they were still mushy soft. I also ruined them when I was polshishig which was a bad idea since they were mushy to begin with. Edges are weird now on the bottom..

There... Finally got the image to work.
Edit:
They snap on and stay on. Here it is on my HHKB with a topre space bar.

I learned tonight that in order to get good results like the first cap I had made, patience must definitely be applied or you will get really bad results.

I hadn't been following this, but what you have done is extremely impressive!

Well done, sir, very well done indeed! :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Thanks guys. I'm kind of low on funds due to my recent purchases but once I recover, I will redo the molds since that is the most expensive part of it,until then, the defects will always be quite similar.

My cast tonight. I was casting in peace carefully loading the resins into the injector when the damn resin started boiling up and curing. It sucks when you ruin your injector because you didn't know that one of the filler compoundsbyou use ends up accelerating cure time from 30 minutes to 2 minutes...

Injector got ruined and I had to rush the process so here are the pics of the partially cured material that was squeezing through.

Holy ****ing **** that teal... Wow... Just wow. That's an amazing colorway.

I have no Thorpie :(. When you make MX, consider me already a customer ;).

Yup.  That's why I didn't make more Topre FNs than I did.  I hated the look of the legend showing up on the FN.  That's changing though.

I have made the TORPEEE Fns without the text successfully. I just keep having some issues on flashing but otherwise they look smegma, I meant decent. I will be posting some pics later or tomorrow. Is it best to post Ina reply or by updating the OP?

Thanks dude. I've got some better ones now but I still haven't uploaded the images of the ones I made recently. I'm actually trying to make a set that would match one of the clacks I have in the mail but Idk how difficult it would be matching it with someone else's colors especially if I am basing it off a photo and not irl true color representation.

Oh cool, clacks in the mail is music to the ears.  Although, clacks on the doorstep is even better. I think I read yesterday you saying you had an OG on the way?

Here are some of what I've made so far. Progress is slow since I am waiting for my materials to arrive and can't really do anything until then. Some of them are a bit wonky because I removed them when they were soft. F2 clack is courtesy of the guy who sold me my ruby red :)

Yesh pls Synjin!
The quality looks amazing on the latest pics except for very few random surface spots here and there! :)

Would be awesome if you could do stuff like arrow key sets, or since your already doing space bars, maybe control keys or Shift plus FN set.
Shift plus Fn would make for a full modifier row for example...  :thumb:

Also the FNs are shift row profile tho I guess, so you could use them as blanks on the lowest alpha row, right? xD

Definitely. Getting your caps out so people can comment on the quality is probably the best way to increase interest/ build hype for a sale.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.
