Title: Good soft 60% wrist wrest.
Post by: Air tree on Sun, 10 November 2013, 23:13:09
Well i'm looking for a nice 60% wrist rest for my HHKB pro 2.

50$ would be my max, But that is pushing it for a wrist wrest.

I'm in america if that matters.

Why does it have to be soft?

Wooden ones are really nice and they feel super natural. Soft ones aren't that good imo, I've had the grifiti and it was not as nice as a wooden one.

You could get a wooden one for $40-60

I have this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002BH4OM0/ref=ya_aw_oh_pit) Fellowes gel wrist rest and it's great. I can post some pictures of it with my HHKB if you're interested.

I also have a Fellows. Very durable for a soft wrist rest, and fairly comfortable.

Why does it have to be soft?

Because ergonomics?

Anyway, Grifiti hand rests appear to be quite popular.

I have the 60% Grifiti and use it with both my 60% and tenkeyless boards. Highly recommended, and the price is right!

I used to use a Fellowes mouse pad with gel wrist rest. Stopped after my wrist started getting sore. Problem was I was resting my actual wrist on it which squashes the blood vessels and tendons and reduces blood supply to the fingers.

If you insist on using a rest, I suggest you only rest the heel of you palm on it when not moving your mouse. Same thing for keyboard rests.

Wrists do not appreciate being under pressure for extended periods.
