If you could, could you give me a brief explanation of what the Cherry Stabilizers do? I just want to be sure that I'd like them before they're on :) Thanks!!

they stabilize the 2x+ width keys so when you press on one side the other side goes down

that was quick, glad i put mine in early, i'm guessing back order means future requests are back order, i'm still good?

maybe at some point you should post what your total order looks like so far or something as people put in their orders, i dunno how i should say it, some tally or something. I'm interested in how many plates, PLU, and switches your having to order. More of my curiosity than a requirement....

Prof,

I want to add 20 MX Grey's to my order, I ordered before that was an option.  Should I fill out another form, or can you edit my existing order?  I don't want to order again and lose my place in line on the clears and whites.

Do I have the ability to view my order?

I'm pretty sure since I got my order in the day the form went up, but can you confirm that I got in before these switches were placed on backorder?

Thanks

How long do you think that the backorder for MX Whites will take? Thinking about changing my PLU board to reds also, but it depends on how long the wait will be for some whites :)

Thanks Prof, props for doing all this work!

ARE YOU SERIOUS? The only thing I actually want from this thread was the mx white switches... didn't even get a chance to get my order in.

Prof, what is the lead time for backordered mx whites? Can you get them to start ordering the whites and clears?

2 months as it is right now but since we blew through the certain instock switches so quickly i asked if there was any way we could expedite getting more

BTW there were a fairly large number of clears and a fairly small amount of whites

I filled the form before I saw the video on what the cherry stabilizer mod is.  I'd also like that.  Please add it to the notes.

Hey TP, do you think your modding skills are up to something like this for making a PLU case winkeyless?

You know what's more time consuming? Properly lubing every switch!

Did they already ordered the two backordered switches from cherry, or is the 2 months ETA from the time you submit all the orders?

when i submit the order so they know how much to oorder but this GB ends in 3 days so you can think of them as the same.

Also, how are you doing the PLU-M87 mods for your namesake plate? A dremel? Sorry if this has already been mentioned, leaning towards either PROF or ANSI150 format.

The poor PLUs :(

Whoa whoa, haven't checked the thread in a while... didn't see Grey and Dark Grey switches were available.  Really want to try both, as I think blacks aren't stiff enough.

Price is so steep though :( and I've already got some unused clears sitting here waiting

Damn, decisions decisions

You might be able to work out a trade with someone, using springs from clear switches and linear stems to produce a switch you might enjoy more

I thought clear springs are similar to black springs? I do have blacks at home. And same reds.

Have the plates been decided yet?

How many keys are on the standard layout and prof layout?
