By the way, did you see what DangerZone did?

I think this comes pretty close to defining a good base set. On top of this a horizontal 1.5u control and fn would be nice. If you want to keep costs down how about making the blank and lettered sets separate in the drop?

Also, still waiting on your ErgoDox review ;)

Yeah Data did a great job with that. Im still tinkering with that and running those ideas by a few other designers/dox users pretty regularly.

I know! I'm finally getting to the 100% comfort level with its capabilities, there is just so much you can do with it. I've put up a few initial reviews, but im still working on the very in depth one to cover how to program it, lighting, lcd screens, etc, etc.  :thumb:

Hey Livingspeedbump, speaking from having keyboards like the planck, the 108-key, and some non standard boards, I would definitely be in for a pack that had row4 and row1 novelites.  Troubledminds, Nantucket, and especially DangerZone really fit the bill (Carbon used it as the number stripe which also was a fresh approach).  It works great for replacing the tired home, end, pg up, pg dn, ins, del, scrl, prtscr, and brk keys (on every tkl), and also for volume keys (on 108-key boards), and also for windows, alt, edit, and ctrl keys (on nonstandard bottom row boards).

I was just thinking about the McD's keycaps you created awhile back.  Jukebox goes with cars, tv, radio, shakes, burgers and fries.  I'm not trying to suggest a novelty set that would overpower the classic theme of vanilla and mint with the splash of red, but I just wanted to add those interests to your amazing set.  Maybe in lieu of pictures to the same, perhaps one-word or two-word phrases from the era to replace those TKL keys (not changing the traditional labeling but adding a twist for those interested).

Definitely in for this set when it comes back for a second round.  Great idea too for breaking out the TKL standard kit into separated kits.  I will pickup extra sets of alphas as I did with Carbon because I end up being able to fill more than one board.

It would be great if the Alternate Color Modifiers Kit had red winkeyless modifiers (1.5 control and alts, and a 7u spacebar), or if red ones were included in the Non-Standard & Alternate Layout Adapter Kit!

How about adding a ctrl key on R3 for planck?  As a developer, I always re-program caps lock to control anyway...

Anyone got images of this on a white TKL or Full-size keyboard (preferably a Ducky YOTG)? I'm tempted by this, and whilst it looks great on 60% keyboards with barely any bezel, I'm wondering how it will look next to the large white expanses on my YOTG - I'm worried that it may clash a bit.

My Ducky One RGB YOTG with Jukebox SA set, the 2 orange pumpkins caps don't belong to the Jukebox set.

I will have a complete ergodox mod set, and the alphas will be their own kit as well so it will hopefully be relatively cheap for dox users, and not require you to buy keys you dont really need :)

Drop is probably happening next week

I've finished up development with a small group of people giving me feedback to help speed up the process. As always, I have tried my best to cater to everyone as well as possible, though have tried to keep the kits basic so this is an affordable drop for everyone as well, including Planck and ErgoDox users

Thanks for the support bud  :thumb:

Turning in the final renders later today, hopefully no mistakes that need to be addressed and then just logistics before going to drop. So very, very soon now regardless.

I think i have it all worked out so 60%/TKL/Ergodox/Planck users can all cover their boards for less thank $100, some of course cheaper than others. But that was one of my big goals this time around, to set up the kits to cater as evenly as possible to all these different boards. The last time I ran Jukebox, Plancks and Ergodox's were such a minority it wasn't really viable, but thanks to some successful MD drops, there are heaps of users out there, which I love to see  :thumb:

Any way we could get a sneak peek at the new novelties or full workup on non R1 layouts before next week? And, possibility for "return" on 1u for planck/preonic/dox?

Psyched for next week.

RETURN doesnt fit as well as I'd like on a 1U key, so those still say ENTER. Same with 1U saying CAPS LOCK instead of SHIFT LOCK like the rest of the kits.

Ah, and on novelties i have added more "text" ones than graphic ones, though there are still a few new graphic ones thanks to Engicoder  ;)

Just personally I love a bit more simplified look, and adding some more vintage themed text mods will work well I think. Hopefully people enjoy them

Also, International kits and Dvorak + Colemak kits WONT be in the drop. Fear not, this is just because they are still available in the PMK store. They hardly sell any units so this will help bring the overall price down a bit for everyone as other sets won't be supplementing MOQ for those sets. Again, one of my main things this time around was making it as affordable as possible for everyone and as many keyboard layouts as possible  :thumb:

Looks like SP is finally catching up on all the orders, for MD to finally re-start this set.

Shall be getting another two complete sets, simply because you can't lose when you hand over your money in Group Buys run by MassDrop.

Only other group I now trust in handing over cash to, is CTRL/ALT.

The way he has the drop structured, it is possible for a greater than normal number of alpha purchases due to having to purchase them separately regardless of keyboard which tips to $24.99 at 750.  That's a bit high on SP's part setting that goal, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Atomic: 2u -- You can tell by the fact that it's exactly the same width as the two 1u keys above.
Planck: 1u
