Bright Green light your world!

Latest designs from hazeluff make people go crazy... just Great... Go GREEN guys!

Full keyboard with the "?"... Too many questions... hmmm...

We'll have Riddler Key for "?" & Arrows replacements...
Now I'm thinking about the WASD "?" kit...

We will have those keycaps in ABS Double-shot, Row 4, and in 2 versions: Green on Black & Black on Green.
The color code, price, or anything else will become clear in the Order Thread coming up next week...

this idea is really nice!

for german layout it is in the number row (wasn't that same as esc row?)
but i use us layout now anyway.

Yeah, that has the same profile as esc, but its not gonna fit on my bottom row of letters ; p. So I wonder what OP's plan is. I'm hoping to replace the US layout '?', cos my keyboard has used up alot of the caps, and it kind of makes sense that the ? goes over the ? key.

i'm totally agreeing with you there!
just wondering about the base color of the key then. since i'm not sure what color my keycaps will be in the long run. (thinking white right now, but who knows lol)

Fits the specs, it should come out slightly thicker.Will make the SVG smaller/larger, so when the machine makes it, it'll be the thickness it is on the PNG.

PBT would have to be dye sub, and ABS we would do doubleshot.

Do they even have a green for PBT? Also if its PBT then it really needs to be black on green, since you can't do green on black.

For some reason SP makes stuff it always ends up being lighter then I thought it would be so I'm going to go with the darker shade, and expecting it to come out a tad lighter

Photos/monitors don't represent colors 100% correctly.thats probably why.

Well I just put samples next to the image of the box in the first page, VCK/VCJ are the closest to it. But unfortunately, because photos always skew colors slightly, I can't be sure. If the image is 90% accurate in terms of color, I think one of those two. I think even VCM and VCS would pass, but I think they're getting a bit extreme.

If anyone thinks there's a better '?' that could be done, post it. I'll whip up an image of it almost right away. I picked one that wasn't plain, so that it looked a bit more "unique"/"special"

Potentially interested, ideally as a replacement for the ANSI ? key. +1 for the extra curvy Batman Forever question mark (sans Bat symbol).

I have a set of ABS samples if anyone wants pictures of the green options next to reference objects.

I'd also love a "?" for Row 4 replacement. I have too many Row 1 keys already.

I'd be in for one of each black-on-green and green-on-black if we do ABS. If we do PBT, I think the VCG would look the best and I'd be in for all 3 if we have an option.

You have have a calibrated monitor...but the photo didn't take the colors accurately anyway = /. Guess its better than non calibrated monitor tho XD.

Solid point, and it no doubt isn't calibrated correctly, although the white balance on the photo doesn't look to be too far off when you look at things that should be black or white in the photo. I'm fine with any of the three colors suggested so far.

I do not know if SP has green PBT, but I can check for you. I prefer the feel of PBT over ABS but we will see if PBT is even a choice first. If PBT is an option then we can take votes

I like the PBT feel, but on a keyboard thats already covered in ABS, it hardly matters to me. I won't say no to dyesub.

Sent off a email to Melissa for a quote and some additional questions.

By the way, VBQ is the green in the cream cheese and green set, but hazeluff and I both think a different green would make it stand out more, but this way you can have a reference to what VBQ looks like and if we go darker or lighter you now have a standard.

Oh ok, now this makes sense.

Photos =/= IRL. If we want to pick the right color, we'd need someone to see it IRL. Imo not really worth it when we arn't too concerned.

About the color scheme... hmmm I really want to have not only the Black on Green but also the Green on Black keycaps. As I said, I'll take at least 25pcs each, so just do Both and let people have options

So I think we will do: ABS doubleshot keycaps for row 4 in 2 versions:

- Green question mark on Black background

- Black question mark on Green background

Is that good???

Yeah, that's good.

I think the green color should be darker on the Black on Green keycaps, more mysterious... but be brighter on Green on Black ones, more attractive...

I was originally thinking just the same 2 colours switched around, but a bright green on black would look wicked.

Still in, and would definitely prefer to have both black-on-green and green-on-black versions, that way it will fit with more keyboard layouts.

I didn't change the hue of the green, just the brightness.

Wonder what green is the VIM key that ones dark but its pretty nice
