I spilt water on my Leopold FC750R but I ended up using it a bit afterwards which caused phantom presses before I unplugged and opened it up to dry it out. After a few days, I put it back together but I found that my B and N keys were no longer working.
I re-opened the keyboard and I didn't see any water damage on the back of the PCB and the area around the B and N keys seemed normal (see picture below). I tried shorting the solder joints of the B and N keys and both were not responsive so I think there's something wrong with the PCB.
I found
a thread very similar to my case except I haven't replaced the diodes yet. I tried testing the diodes with a multimeter and it seemed okay but is there another way to check? I also tried
the advice of the person helping in that thread but found when I shorted
orange to
blue, the "V" key was typed instead of the "N" key.
Any help in debugging/fixing the problem would be very much appreciated.
