TG3 BL82A - w/ De-Sanitized layout
« on: Sat, 06 November 2010, 19:17:52 »
My latest board from Didjamatic...

Wait a second...
Didjamatic, that spacebar is backwards. You can tell because the LEDs don't match up properly depending on how it's oriented.

But, as I have a tendency of changing layouts around.
I really gotta get myself some free time so I can write a loadkeys/xmodmap/xkb wiki, but I digress.

Sorry for the crap pics (lighting, I swares).

Yes, it [, the Geek Hack key] glows!

Layout changes that are not so noticeable:
  • Old Ctrl is now Alt
  • 5k177 key to the right of Alt is AltGr
  • 5k177 key to the left of the spacebar is the Super/Windows Key
  • Caps is Ctrl
  • Right Shift is actually ISO_Level5_Shift (all you need to know is that it's "magic shift")

ISO_Level5_Shift is probably the easiest method of getting HHKB like function keys on general keyboards in Linux. I'd use ISO_Level3_Shift, but that's already reserved for AltGr for Colemak.

Oh and the LED for CapsLock is actually green (and virtually the same colour as the 5k177 keys).

ALWAYS looking for cool and interesting switches
I take requests for making keyboard converters (i.e. *old keyboard* to USB).
