Another potato picture of mine.
I completed (one of) my board(s).

I decided to go for a 2.25u right shift to match the set.

Happy building everyone, enjoy the amazing GB.

I've built it! However I have no idea how to work the firmware and now half my board isn't working... Anyone have an easy tutorial and know how to reset it to default? Also some of my LED's aren't working, don't know if it's just another firmware issue or if it is a problem with the keyboard :(

This was a learning experience.  I found a few Zealio purples that were bad meaning a slight touch activates the key press and would see double characters before I hit bottom.  Accidentally putting the switches in the W/L holes, oops.  The clear acrylic case frop Ziptyze was causing the pcb stabilizer for the space bar to dislodge and causing a 'sticky' effect on the space bar.  I thought I put the stabilizer wrong, but noticed that it was hitting some sort of lip inside of the case.  I used a dremel to clear space.  Works great now.  The RGB leds looks beautiful with it.

I do have a question.  With the tier 3 pcb with the RGB leds, would it be ok to add LEDs to keyswitches?  I haven't seen anyone with both yet.  Also, I guess you can't map mouse controls with the bootmapper editor right?

I've seen a few online with both the RGB led and in key leds. You should be good! This is what I'm planning on doing.

I followed the instructions here if you haven't already done so:
http://blog.winkeyless.kr/183

I had the same issue with the LEDs like you did, too.  But if you use the BootMapperClient, you can go to Options->Num of RGB Leds and set that to 16.

I actually mapped the ROW-COLUMN.  Follow this: http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/#/gists/5f7fa6abb1a691714953

It's very small but you can see the row-column values that map to that key.

Thank you for your help, but really I am just an idiot :p I sorted it now and this thing is beautiful! No key caps on it yet but I brought it to work to sort it out. Thank you again for the group buy, this has been awesome and I've already ordered by Zealios keys for my next keyboard ;) Hope to see another group buy from yourself soon! I'll post a picture tomorrow :)

Does the Tier 2 PCB come with pre-soldered resistors for in switch LEDs or will I need to get some myself?

PCB and plate arrived, my cheap transparent aliexpress case needs some dremeling though, so no complete build this weekend :)

And plans changed back to green plate and dolch because I found the 1.75 right shift I thought I didn't have for the split right shift.

Will this case also need some dremeling?

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Mini-Keyboard-GH60-plastic-Case-for-60-Mechanical-Keyboard-Compatoble-PBT-Keycaps-Poker2-Pok3r-Faceu-60/1555390_32311183273.html

This is exactly my case (the non mentioned but available transparent version). Further investigation reveals no dremeling neccessary!

Received my two Pcbs and stabilizers sets yesterday!
Thx a lot LeandreN!  :thumb:

From the looks everything looks pretty much perfect to me!

One little thing tho:
A stabilizer bars escaped the small plastic bag and almost made it out of the box,
but its all good and Im super happy to have some smexy pcbs for upcoming builds!

No issue, just figured Id mention it! =)

Will this case also need some dremeling?

I owned this case before giving a board to a friend. It's a bit taller than the others and there's more room on the bottom. I guess you don't need any cutting.

Edit: I seem to just have 6KRO, wasnt the driver claiming to be NKRO? Anyone knowing if there is a setting for it?
It's 6KRO under USB and NKRO on PS2. I guess you can try with an adapter.

And yes, the ugly USB cable will be replaced :D

ISO GER, white in-switch LEDs, PBT Vortex set for now ... really waiting for their doubleshot PBT backlit ISOs
Wow, your build looks amazing. Makes me even more excited to get my stuff  ;D
Did your PCB happen to come with resistors for the in switch LEDs?
All the PCBs have resistors for switch leds.
Ok, good to hear! Thanks.
Also, should switches be soldered in before the switch LEDs or other way around?
Custom 60%: Cherry MX blues with 62g gold springs and PBT Black on Black dyesub keycaps.

Other Keyboards: Deck Hassium Pro (MX Browns), the underated Leopold FC660M (MX Browns)

Ahh so glad to hear no dremeeling necessary. I don't own one..
