Man, I don't know what else I could have done. The e-mail was sent literally right on the nose of 8PM.

Bah, I never get in these sales. Quite disheartening but congratulations to all the winners. Enjoy your caps.  :thumb:

I sent my email 1.5 seconds early and it was still sold out by the time he got to my order... So even accounting for delivery lag, it's hard to tell if your email will arrive in time.

+1

Love you nubs!

I'm sad I didn't get in. Maybe my mistake was to go with Topre. I figure that could be really limited number.

After failing this sale, and probably failing the broless dibs sale, maybe I will end up with enough in the budget to order a cable from Zeal ;)

If that's the case, then wouldn't it be the same case every time essentially dooming me for every sale?

P.S. I got the package and read your note. Pics coming soon!

It's.. over? But I didn't get a PM...

What is this feeling..? Why do I feel so empty inside now?

This was not supposed to happen! I had it all planned out in my mind; my HHKB that's coming in tomorrow would be my first keyboard to have an artisan keycap. I feel light-headed now. This was the first sale I ever participated in and I was not anticipating a loss. I'm feeling so many emotions right now.

I don't like this GeekHack. I don't like this at all!

hold me ;_;

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Thanks, needed this haha. Had to send the e-mail via phone at a friend's house with 7% battery life, didn't think I would even have enough juice for the countdown timer.

Maybe these buys aren't for me, back to the classifieds/online stores I go!

If anybody is willing to part with 1 cool toned mummy from the recent sale, id love to pick one up (blue/green/purple).

I missed out and need to get 2 more artisan caps to finish my F-row :(

I blew my load a little too early on the last sale. Next time, I'm just going to look at the timer. Forget the Windows clock... that was five seconds ahead of the timer.

Grats to everyone who got in! Looking forward to the pictures!
