I'd sooner drop money on a keythulu then a cc at retail prices.   Unfortunately I missed out.

Binge's work has impressed me from the start, and his efforts and hard work is showing each new design.

yeah, fall back on that.

your comment was condescending, rude and not needed. and you weren't expecting a response and now you're backtracking because it didn't go the way you wanted it to.

but i'm the one looking for drama, gotcha.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I think what he meant by what he said was as awesome as Binge caps are (and they ARE awesome. I would kill for his "old Greg" cap) that they just aren't held at such high status within the community as click clacks are solely based on the history and hype behind CC caps. But hey this is the therapy thread and we are all aloud to be mad, happy, sad, jealous or anything else in here.

I got on 5 min early and it was already on sale so I quickly tried to buy from my phone and couldn't figure out the cart so went to my computer and got 1 of each gold like I planned rushed though and checked out woo. I noticed they're still on sale too.. he did mention he didn't think people would want those other colors as bad and to message him! Maybe he has extra!

I'm really still suspecting that the number of these was well towards the lower end of the scale.  With most people entering for all 8, and few winning anything, it seems a logical conclusion.

No gummyrot for majority of us :(

Don't you know most people that win just don't say anything :P

and there are a lot of people who are not on geekhack that entered I'm, so when you start seeing people posting ~60 times there first day and then magically they have a clack for sale or trade, you'll know whats up

I'm really still suspecting that the number of these was well towards the lower end of the scale.  With most people entering for all 8, and few winning anything, it seems a logical conclusion.

Yep most of us entered all 8 and not 1 win. And then there are some who won one. Here I was dreaming I'd have all 8 on my desk..

Does anyone know the ballpark for how much a new gummyrot or green gummyrot would fetch for? These are so new I wonder what the demand for them are.

It's kind of ****ty how people enter the drawing and win but instead of seeing a clack they just see dollar signs.

It is what it is....
