I'm just a dummy who has no skills. I was doing stand up until the pandemic struck, and now I'm just on my computer all the time (enjoying it, don't get me wrong). Very interested in attempting to build and modify keyboards after discovering this community. Hoping to learn something, anything at all!

Hi chalcocabana. Welcome to Geekhack.

You've come to the right place to learn soldering, if nothing else. Keyboards are pretty simple and the solder pads for switches are huge and spaced out well.
