I stopped by Costco and picked up a Pizza from the food court for dinner (sorry no picture).

ZOMG..

Tp4 used to get 2 slices and 2 hotdogs w/sauerkraut,

Then Tp4 would roll the pizza around the hotdogs..

NOTHING! I have been on a fast, so I haven't eaten all year. Then next week, I will have just fruits and vegetables for the first few days to acclimate back to eating.

Is this cheesy lemon chicken? This looks good enough that I'd like to try making it soon.

This fish was awesome...

Do you have details on how long you baked it? I always have trouble cooking fish so that the middle is done without the outside being burnt.

Are those breaded chicken gizzards ?

Fried okra if I'm looking at the same food item.

Yup, fried okra. We recently got an air fryer so we've been experimenting.

But I'd be all over some gizzards and livers if we had some to fry.

$2 lunch special at work.  Todays entree: Beef stroganoff (no idea how that is spelled).

Worth $2, but not $5.

Bearnaise sauce is a flavor orgasm in your mouth.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

My wifes on some diet and said she needed bacon, ~24hr sous vide then finished some in air fryer the rest in the oven.

Need more bacon this stuff was excellent, it was locally sourced from a neighbor's pig.

also, wtf is Chicken Lombardy....it kinda looks like chicken lasagna, substituting chicken filets for pasta sheets.

Also a few posts back, you had a side of green beens with mushrooms. What exactly is in it? I love me some mushrooms and am always looking for new ways to have em. I'd love to know how they were prepared.

Mostly this
 https://kaseytrenum.com/chicken-lombardy-keto-low-carb/

only I floured the chicken breasts and used a small amount of flour to make the sauce and didn't use Italian seasoning and we added green onions.  There's some other recipes online,  the history is it's a dish olive garden served as a special in the past. But it was awesome and leftovers were better than the first time.

Sometimes we buy canned green beans that come with mushrooms, other times we buy a can of regular green beans and a can of mushrooms. Just dump them in the pot and warm to a boil for a few minutes add a little salt and pepper. For the mushrooms canned separately you'd drain them first.

Spam, what diet is ur wifu on..

I have no idea something with low to no carbs, no soda or sweets but she's been eating bacon and eggs for breakfast every other day and sandwiches for lunch with cucumbers instead of bread.

I made her some buffalo chicken dip (it's pretty awesome) she's been eating it on lettuce to I think.

She only had one piece of pizza tonight but also ate cherry tomatoes, carrots and grapes.

We all ate salad last night.

So, after 44 years on this earth, I finally cooked a “steakhouse” quality steak. Seared it on the grill, then finished it in a cast iron skillet in the oven. Starting with a 1-1/4” thick ribeye helped. I finally did it!

So, after 44 years on this earth, I finally cooked a “steakhouse” quality steak. Seared it on the grill, then finished it in a cast iron skillet in the oven. Starting with a 1-1/4” thick ribeye helped. I finally did it!

Very nice JD.

I can't wait for the weather to quit being insane here so I can grill again.

Thanks!

I actually grilled them on a Lodge cast iron grill pan (the long one with the griddle on the other side) on the stove. Our oven stopped working over a year ago, so I recently sold a few things to afford a replacement, and I bought one with the oval griddle burner in the center. Worked great!

Looks great! Rib-eyes are the best.

A suggestion, though: Try the reverse-sear instead. Oven first, roaring hot cast iron pan sear afterwards.

I made them the way you did for years before trying the reverse-sear and now I can't do it any other way. It takes a bit longer, but the results are outstanding.
