Keyboard of the Month - October - Nominations
« on: Thu, 26 October 2017, 05:59:06 »
Hello everyone and welcome to another late edition of Keyboard of the Month! It's time to nominate your favourite board on the forum from the last month!

Last month's winner was TalkingTree's Project Toad

Nominations will be open for around two weeks, happy hunting!
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Would it not be better to wait until it's finished?

Agreed. It'd be better to have design of the month if unbuilt things are allowed.

The difference between a pile of parts and a keyboard.

This is keyboard of the month, not pile of parts of the month :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

You can't nominate twice the same board ? Even if it didn't win ?

No sir, you cannot. Not unless there has been drastic change to it between then and now.

I guess I'll toss my hat keeb in the ring and nominate it.
