It's a shame that Whisker's is getting out of the manufactured usb cable division.

I remembered once him saying that he didn't want to charge $40 for his work, damn you - I would pay it easily. Just to own one of your brilliant and unique cables, which I've missed out on every time you posted.

If anyone else here could make it cheaper then Good Luck to them. I doubt they could make it as nicely as he can, from the pictures they look superb.

You can make it cheaper...but for yourself only...no profit. And you would have to make a bunch because of the start up minimum. Do the math. It's a deal.

But...I'm not sure there can be much more mark up. I think they are priced right.

DISCLAIMER: I don't own any cables yet. I'm hoping he still makes them end of this year...I want custom cables for the split Kinesis project. It will be showcase

I always miss out on this, I just can not get an even break on buying any of his cables. I think I may be going to my grave never owning a splendid Whisker USB cable.

In fact on my Tombstone it has to read, ALWAYS MISSED OUT on getting WHISKER's USB CABLES. Very Sad.

Yeah, I suppose we're even. Today RA 2 gets shipped to everyone, hence if you are living overseas yours will be shipped today (Monday 13th of August) as well.

I read his first page about not supporting custom orders anymore, which is fair. I just need to keep F5'ing this webpage to see when the next cable will be available.

He shouldn't feel harassed into making any cable unless he wants to. Maybe he just wants to rest and hang out with his family rather than be glued to this site night and day like me.

Unfortunately I am out of supplies and I need to re up. So I am gonna order some more stuff. I have been getting a lot of request for cables that match red alert so I think I will do a batch of red alert cables ( red w/ white shrink wrap).

As for when I don't know. School starts back for me on the 20th and I am working a lot so it will be whenever I have time

. One of these days I will have to take a break so I can put my KMAC together lol.

Untold........Thanks for that. I was looking for a RED cable to go with the Red Alerts. Also a Cream Cheese and Green cable would also be most welcomed as well.

Unfortunately not. They are too thick and the connector is too big to fit easily in the recessed area on the bottom of the keyboard.

you might get it to fit by dremeling the cable channel to a larger diameter but this would really only be worth it if your cable comes out of the middle channel. also, yeah, you might have problems with the connector. i have had to take a razor blade to every cable terminator housing i've used on the leo.
