Yeah, the app I use to run all the different logic/conditions for each option for custom cables requires JS.

Though I can't pose a good reason for buying this now, since I have vintage clears and gateron tops left for another 60% build (I don't mind drilling slots/holes for the tops to accept RGB, haha), I'd say that the purple switches are the way to go if you want a totally unique experience from Gateron since a clear switch clone is not normally offered. Heck, no one has cloned clears yet. I guess they feel like it doesn't have enough demand compared to the big four.

Aftermarket PCBs don't exist yet. They are being developed, however. Special 4 pin RGB LEDs will be stocked by me shortly after I or someone else releases an aftermarket in-switch 4pin RGB PCB.

It's not like that at all. I just have this urge to buy things I don't need sometimes and at the time I bought these switches, I don't even plan on building any custom board. Was looking at the GONs but GON himself took almost a month to reply me so I trashed that idea.

I yanked one of my Poker 2 switch, and it's only a Red, and I can't even put it back. How am I suppose to build a whole board from scratch? With that in mind, I might as well cancel the Zealios so it can go to someone else who's going to appreciate it more.

if you had intended on modding the caps with springs and clear switch tops there's a chance you might be saving money or at the very least a **** load of time haha congrats and hope you post pics of your board when finished

Don't pay attention to an old pensioner because we are stuck back in time, my comments are only really meant to keep the Zealio Hype Train going and that's all  .

He's got access to some fine-ass switches which are really unique looking hence it's worth the buy in because you won't see these being sold everywhere, anytime soon.

If lubed properly, 1x 2ml of Thick/Thin micro-vial is enough for a bit over 100 switches. You'll have plenty of spring lube left over for future projects.

Check out with the non-PayPal option, it will lead you to where you can create an account and then there will be another PayPal option that will add shipping. I had the same problem :/

After you press confirm / pay on PayPal, you'll be redirected back to my site with the shipping info prefilled and you'll see shipping added to the subtotal. I'm not sure if I follow. Every purchaser has already paid for shipping. Both ways will add shipping regardless, it's just how the system works.

Anyone have experience with putting LEDs like these (http://www.gonskeyboardworks.com/electric-parts/83-dip-leds-for-cherry-mx-switches.html) actually inside the housing? I tried it, and they do fit, slightly pushing out the lock tab, but not interfering with the plunger. The lock tab isn't an issue; it makes the switches fit better in the GON acrylic plate ::shrug:: but I don't want to find out later that I have heat issues and need to strip everything out.

I really want to make these switches pop - an alternative would be to solder SMTs onto the board on the through-holes, but there's still interference and heat to worry about, unless I cut reliefs in the bottom of the switch, a job I don't relish doing 110 times.

What's the current draw on those LEDs?  Honestly, at this size and with the low power we're using heat should not be an issue.  But even if you're not sure you can always just use a bigger resistor and bring the current down.  /shrug
