122 Key Model M
« on: Thu, 07 July 2011, 11:03:09 »
I won what I thought was just a 108 key model M with a PS2 connector on Ebay and when it arrived yesterday it turned out to be a 122 Key model with what I believe is an AT connector. The part number is 1386887 it was manufactured on February 6, 1995. I can't find much about this anywhere else online, so maybe someone here has some info.

Will this keyboard work normally if I get the proper adapters, or is this some kind of terminal model that won't work well with Windows 7?

Thanks for any information you can provide!

That is a terminal board, and it can work, with appropriate changes.

Go find a post by Kishy, or PM him for the details. He is quite knowledgeable about making these work with modern systems.

There's also a teensy based adapter in the mods section to make it work, if you prefer that route.
