Finally made the plunge and joined this forum, here's my welcome thread :)
My introduction, I'm freshly addicted to mech keys and the obsession has completely taken me over. In the past two months I went from thinking the only keyboard I could buy was off the shelf at the store, to going holy s*&t I need this, and this and this and that haha
I have nothing special right now other than an anne pro rgb 60% keyboard that I am currently developing wood bamboo cases for, but I do have a GH60 kit in the mail as well as a KC60 with the infamous backspase key. Eagerly awaiting release for the Light Cycle
Here's a few pictures.

And here is my DIY/Archaic setup. Currently trying to fine tune it so that I can have consistant results every case I make. I've reached out to a few wood shops to create them out of CNC to ensure quality standards I have for myself, but the price is a little daunting. Anyways, thanks for looking guys. Can't wait to get into this place a little bit more and see everything you all have to offer.
Cheers :)

Hey, thanks Squishy! I was starting to wonder if I would be the only post here without a reply :)

Welcome to the community from Halifax, NS. This has to be my most rewarding hobby, but also biggest money sink... I love it :p

Has anyone found a list of good Canadian sources for MB parts? I dunno about you but I find it extra frustrating finding affordable goods with the exchange rate, shipping and duties. I purchased my keyboard thought ncix while it was on sale (Ducky one with blue backlighting for about 115$) so it didn't hurt too bad and the shipping was quick...but I feel like I lucked out with my purchase. I'm looking for PBT caps(*cough* and a few other things...*cough*) and might as well purchase a whole new keyboard for the price I'm going to have to pay just to get it here.
Does anyone else have shipping sadness?

There really isn't.
However. I've been in talks with some companies that produce hardware for keyboards and am currently working on starting small distribution for a few different parts with plans of going to the large scale.
us canadians really really get hosed for things, especially shipping.

psssh Micro Centers and NCIX all over the place.
I'll be rooting for you about the wood cases though. My folks have had the same pepper grinder for what seems like forever and it shows zero wear and tear because - bamboo. I'm tempted to try out bamboo underwear. tbh

We have, in Calgary, and alberta
-Memory Express
-Best buy
What do they sell? OEM peripherals. No DIY parts. No custom keebs, nothing unless it comes from razer/corsair/etc.
I know BC has ncix (afaik) but even then, they don't sell DIY keyboard supplies.
