I have an orange BS Wrapped

Ooh nice, do you want rid of it?  I have no BS board to put it on but I could get one, the orange Wrapped looks great!

No, it goes very well with my yellow BS Wrapped :D
And yellow/ orange Clack.

Heh, yea, that too :))

I haven't tried putting that one on a keyboard yet
You monster!
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

It is too valuable - I don't want to break it

It is on my desk right in front of my keyboard :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I do love orange and purple but its nice to let others enjoy them too! :D
^^^this I'm shipping out some random KWKs to some people this week some were trades but others surprises. It put a dent in my collection but spread the love right  :thumb: seriously though these are little pieces of art most of the caps have a history and a list of previous owners. For people like me it doesn't get any better then collecting these little master pieces

Awesome, glad to hear the few caps in existence will be appreciated by many :)

I don't do the hoarding style of collecting but be warned, if I get my hands on an orange one it will disappear onto my board and will not be going anywhere until I have arthritis and can no longer type :))

Yeah, I would love to have enough to spread the love, each time there is a sale or raffle I put at least 2 on my wish list with plan to pass it to someone unlucky, but I never have that luck. If it weren't for a couple of nice people I wouldn't have even the few caps I have now.

Oh no you definitely had WARus on there, don't worry!  ;)  I took it off for some reason.   I intentionally removed a few from the list, but I forgot how amazing WARus II is and I definitely should have kept it.  :|  I'm a terrible person.

But what's everyone's favorite KBK colorway?

My top few would have to be
Mischief Pink
Binge Island
DUG
Bone Daddy

I tried making a list with just a few and it kept changing and I kept remembering different color ways that I liked. So I scrapped it and wrote another scrapped that one and said screw it i love them all  :))

Here's my picks

Captain planet
Halloweenie
Give up the ghost
Poltergeist

As we all can agree, his work is sick and hard to narrow it down to a few, but these are my favorites.

But what's everyone's favorite KBK colorway?

I'm partial to Under The Sea, but that might be because it's the color of my only Mummy II.  :))
I thought you had 2?

Nope, gave the PB&J away.  :thumb:

Here's before that.

I was talking about that blue with green eyes. I'd forgotten about PB&J.

Blue with green eyes?  I can't believe I forgot about that one.

Haha Hoffman your funny    forgets you had another mummy2
This is why KBKs can be hard to find, people forget they own them.

I actually still didn't even believe you after you described it, until I looked at this picture and realized that I do in fact own it.   :-X

Haha, back when all I had was a v2 and a hypno cap.

I know I saw the Mummy II at keycon and I think I looked for it when I came over in August.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

Did you find it?  O.o  I don't even remember where I got that cap from.  Oh man, this is embarrassing...

Oh ****, poltergeist!

Is that what that one's called?  I don't think I ever heard the name for it.

I really want to see one of the color changing mummies in person  :'( :'( :'(
I hate myself for trading Bubble Yum.

Also Sed, I know the cap you're talking about and I think it currently belongs to naasfu.

I've gotten KBKs from naasfu before, he is open to trade if you have something of equal coolness.

Edit: The pic is every artisan that was at Hoff's meetup last year. So Hoff, CPT, Melvang, The Beast, Exit, and I. Synjin was also there but I don't know if any of the artisans are his.

Haha that's a big collection of a few people from my meetup last year.  ;)

exitfire across the top (trans/GID), JQ's in the upper right (BBV2 + Hypno), Melvang's in the middle right (purple BBV2, steel V2, metal skull, grey moose), CPT's two BS Clacks to the left of Melvang's, The_Beast in the lower right (the five BS Clacks and everything below), and mine are all of the rest (line of BroCaps below exit's and below).  :thumb:
