Which is exactly why it's on my list - I am a bit out of practice (by a year or two) but it's not such a chore as it is a relaxing way to improve technique and strength. A lot of the time I spent on the water I could have just as easily enjoyed being on the erg for a 20-minute interval set.

Yeah it's a pretty amazing place to live, gorgeous scenery and women everywhere. It's one of the most expensive cities to live in on earth though unfortunately.

Fixie is a big step! If you're unsure, go single speed first to ease into the changes. (you probably already know this :p )

AFAIK, the two main downsides to fixies are turns and the different pedalling technique considering you can't "pulse". But if you can handle those things then you'll be golden. Single speeds are awesome, and I've long considered picking up a fixie - just not sure if I need one at this point. :)

Oh! TIL. I am not an expert, BTW, just someone that's into bikes. :p In that case, nevermind. The only thing to be aware of is the different pacing of pedaling, but that's so minor it's not even a concern - just something different. So yay!

You need something around 10-20 watts tops..
So you can easily get that with some lithium batteries...
With a small battery bank, like those 3 cell chargers, you can power a converted hair dryer/ vaporizer for at least 2-3 sessions.

Also, I don't think it's ideal to put use the type where you take drags on.
Building the bag type is ideal, because you'd want to get the heat stable and so as to not waste the substance..
