As much as I love this community but there is one thing that I could not get my head around to is the way Geekhack Forum Private Message inbox works. It's utterly messy,unfriendly and unconventional compare to other forum inbox such DeskAuthority.
I'm so afraid to click on "Message" link, it's like the dark zone that faint hearted like me would not dare to wandering around for long.
When you read the messages, all the private message are listed out in the same page and it's so hard for me to keep track with same conversation with same person. It's like picking out needle from the haystack and it's so annoying to trace back replied message.
Deskauthority have much better inbox and I find it's fairly standard way forum private message inbox.
If you hear me out, please...please change the way the inbox works.

i also dislike that if im messaging users on my phone, and i forget to check the box that says [ ] click here to save a copy of this message in your outbox, the record of the message is gone forever. Shouldn't they automatically be saved?

This can thankfully be changed. Go here (http://geekhack.org/index.php?action=profile;area=pmprefs;u=32568) and check the box that says "Save a copy of each personal message in my sent items by default."

Try that. I find it pretty managable.

Also click the grey double arrow on the right hand side and the menu changes to this which I think is a bit better:

Is there any way for you to know if the pm was lost?

Well when you PM someone and ask if they received another PM and they say No, either it was lost or they are a liar.

Happened to me recently. Tried to sent a PM to someone, it was in my sent folder but he isn't get it.
