And I just want to consult you how the split spaces are arranged?

The boards I've seen usually allowed both 2.25/1.25/2.75 and 2.75/1.25/2.25.  I personally would prefer 2.25/2.75/1.25 :)

Frankly I think it's fine if you choose whatever layout is easier for you to implement.

Well, I know what you mean. PCB supports split backspace.

Thank you for the clarification :D

I doubt this is in the cards, but is there a chance of getting a board without the blocker so that we can have a setup like this

I love 65% boards, but for some reason blockers really bother me. I'm happy to get my own PCB/Plate, but it wouldn't work unless a board without blockers was available.

65% without blocker is so 2017. Plenty of keyboard that are like that, let us blocker lovers have our blocker

Not saying dont have it, just saying have it be an option. Idk why I just can't get on board with them. I really like this board so I would get it anyway, but it would be nice to have the option.

Ah, I should be compatible both layouts in Space65.

From reddit (u/Graystudio): "225 dollars is the kit price(case, pcb, plate, light bar, nameplate and other accessories)"
This could certainly change by the time the GB comes around.

The only special key is the 1.75u right shift. DSA is uniform so its easier to cover 65%

Hi, everyone.
  I'll show a new design of 65% keyboards:SPACE65 ;D.
Here is a short IC form of SPACE65,Thank you for your reply: https://goo.gl/forms/9vWFF0DgV4knsqQ92
Discord:https://discord.gg/ckeXNRr
Space65 is inspired by two great feats of my mind in 1977: Apple II Computer and Voyager 1.
Apple II:
Show Image

Voyager1:
Show Image

In appearance, I want to design an ancient and modern keyboard. At the same time, it must be very distinctive.

Now I have completed the design, and below are some details of my design.

On the top side of space65, I followed the wide sides and the concave design of Apple II`s keyboard  (Details on the left and right sides).
Render:
Show Image

On the bottom, I want to design as concise and smooth as possible and have characteristics. So I made an asymmetrical design on both sides.
Render:
Show Image
Show Image

On the back, I designed a nameplate that almost runs through the whole keyboard. And there is a convenient wing to pick up it.
Render:
Show Image

And a RGB LED light strip on the left side(Made of acrylic by CNC).
Render:

I am a little worried the overall effect is not perfect, so I quickly completed the proofing to test the effect of SPACE 65(Especially the effect of RGB).

But after receiving the sample, I found a very obvious mistake.
Its about logo,I want is the concave effect by laser(reference render).
Then I got the keyboard,I found its the white mark of laser carving.

However, the overall effect seemed to be good enough...
So,now it deeply troubled me, I am struggling which looks better(about the white mark of laser carving or Depth of carving).

In a few days, I will proofread again, then compare the two effects.

Other details:
Case material:Anodized Aluminum 6061
Plate:Carbon fibre.
Angle:5 degrees
PCB:Bootmapper;two RGB LED light bars;Switch LED Position:South
Colors:  Black , Silver, Gray, Blue, Red(Up to now)

What do you suggest for SPACE65? So hope you could provide it to me, and then we can better finish the design of SPACE 65.

Sorry, everyone, for I replied so late.
I looked carefully at the IC form,a total of 196 votes were received.

About firmware, QMK has a high degree of selectivity.
Show Image

After negotiating with my partners, we decided to use the firmware of QMK.

About logo, more like CNC(Probably the samples will come out next week. Then we can compare the effect.
)...
AND on the choice of whether to split the space bar. The result is really troubling me....

I am definitely leaning closer to definitely getting it than I was before.

Any chance PCB could be USB-C + Hot-swappable switches?
Was this addressed by op?

Would like an option for a PCB with:
- South facing hot swap
- usb-c
- smd LED
- standard layout

From OP:

I think it has 4/4 of those things are on this PCB. I could be wrong but that looks like a USB C footprint. It's got south LEDs. It has a standard layout. SMD LEDs for the top and side cut outs.

I doubt we will see hot swap as that limits the layout which in turn limits the amount of participants. Hot swap hybrid is definitely possible but have yet to see it be done. What I mean by hybrid is hot swap alphas and numbers and layout locked keys: tab, right shift, arrow keys, column 16 (far right column). This gives the majority of the board hot swap ability but still allows for every layout to be done on one PCB and one plate. Just reduces the overall amount of soldering.

Ah,its south facing, but not hot swap.Because if have hotswap, there is no way to make compatible keys.
It is the usb-c interface;smd LED &standard layout all ok.

On page 2, OP states original price around $225 without PayPal and express charges (shipping?). Hopefully it stays around there but I would wager that the hand polished will cost a premium.

Would like an option for a PCB with:
- South facing hot swap
- usb-c
- smd LED
- standard layout

Ah,its south facing, but not hot swap.Because if have hotswap, there is no way to make compatible keys.
It is the usb-c interface;smd LED &standard layout all ok.
BTW, Cary is making South-facing, SMD led, Hot-swap PCB available as an upgrade option for dolch.cr keyboard group buy. It would be great if you can too.

Look forward to the GB on this one. Have some ideas for custom paint jobs with the accent bar in the back.
