Agreed, but I am limited at the moment on the type of fonts I can use. You are welcome to edit. I would have loved using something like Courier, on any other mono-spaced font.

for this project it may be prudent to use a font widely associated with linux/other unixalikes. maybe a bitstream vera variant?
even better would be an approximation of a bitmapped console font. i'll try to remember to play around with it when i get off work tonight.

a lot of people hate terminus for some reason. i don't particularly like it but i am not opposed to it either.

I don't know, but it's free of use, it's got a pretty geeky/8bit style, it's monospaced.

I don't know a lot of font that have those attributes.

I am in for most of the ideas in this thread.  I can do SVGs once we know what is real and what is pie in the sky.

UPDATES!

You know where to find the SVGs if you need them, and want to edit.
I think we need to start making a poll.

I had only Terminus, so I used that.

can you do SVGs now?

If you mean these two:
http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=20485.0
http://deskthority.net/marketplace-f11/doubleshot-replacements-round-4-t1376.html
I am not seeing a Glider key.
But I did miss round 3's Lotus :(
I am pretty sure 7bit dropped the glider from round4 after I canceled my 100 orders. I believe there was only minimal support after that.

I'd def. be down for many redhat and fedora dyesubs.

I already got NOIR/GLIDER comming, and more. You can read the thread there.

But fedora/redhat, meh. You are still welcome to use my templates to make them though. I should technically do a OpenSUSE, but I am not interest enough. Or Debian FTM.

NO ONE WANTS rm -rf!!! I am in shock GH.
I still plan to do dmr when I have serious free time. Customer's here do not give me the time.

EDIT: taking notes on Oakland and OCR.

Looking forward to this GB.  I understand that the set should be more 'generic' but I do support the LM key if it's possible.  It is the second most popular distro atm (and what I'm currently using) :) Keep the ideas coming!

Linux Mint mod key without the other graphic effects in there and just the white DS part

Bah, I am still in shock that LM is actually #1 in distrowatch. I would have thought it be Fedora or RedHat. Oh_well.png

One vote for CPMono_v07

Needs a crunch bang key (#!), more for its ubiquitous-ness than for the distro.
Keyboards:
Filco 104 MX Brown (Otaku) - FKBN104M/NPEK 黒い空
Ducky TKL MX Brown/Blue 80% (White) - 1087-F 白の空
KBC Poker MX Red with PBT Key Caps - PFCN6000

I doubt I'll be ordering any of these for the moment but the topic certainly interests me. My non-buying vote for font goes to the CPMono font. Nice!

Two votes on CPMono. It is official.

>digitalleftovers
I asked for Shebang, and no one responded. I guess a one vote. But I am not interested on it.

>drteeth
Welcome aboard. We are still in the design and implementation phase. Have a look around and help out if you like. I do not think we will be making orders yet. We are trying to make this an entire keyset.

>sth
I LOVE CARBON PRINTED RASTER FONTS! But osifont looks bad for $_ #_. I think I might actually make the blocks instead.

>et al.
FYI, I have been busy with work, that I have not made dmr yet, or any other. So I apologize.

Toss another vote in the #! column.  I like that the best.

fair, i hadn't checked out those glyphs. but have you seen the legit red alert sets that sixty orchestrated? the legends on the num row are beautiful and give a good idea of what SP's standard stuff is capable of looking like.

I'm struggling with getting these $ and # keys to work with the constraints of a doubleshot key.

I am thinking that I will work on these a bit more, but delay the GB a bit as I there are some other great keys I want to get going soon.

Thanks i3oilermaker, for telling to make these as blocks.

Actually, I did not like the red alert ones. :( The Bold or thickness reminded me valentine candies. They did not look like a raster what-so-ever.

>et al.
Ugh, shebang goes I guess.
