new to the whole keyboard thingy, this seems like a great keyboard, I feel like however it might not be for a beginner like my self. I'm afraid I don't even understand what I would need to make it work.

So what you guys think? Better leave this one (since only 50 are being made) for more experienced users? Or would this be a good beginner board?

Oh man, yea, get your feet wet with a pre-built keyboard first from Coolermaster or something. For this thing you need keycaps, switches, among other things, and have it built.

Guys, I have an 87key LZ-S. If anyone would rather an 87 layout, I would be willing to trade my PCB+plate for a 86 set. My plate is royal blue, and already has switches (clears w/black springs, but remember the plate allows you to change without resoldering). Would like to trade for a pcb+plate and a bag of switches, but if anyone is interested, we can make a deal.

I may consider this if i can pick up a full set of lettered zinc caps.

LZ(LifeZone) modified the LZ-S case to make the LZ-GH case. This case has 2 different height which can be change by reversing the bar feet.


This keyboard is available in 2 different versions and 3 different colors.

BTW, I ordered an 84 but am reevaluating my decision.  Why is everyone so against windows keys?  It's not like you're removing them and saving space, you're literally just putting an empty space where they used to be.

1. It looks more retro
1a. Retro cherry keycaps fit without needing to fill in that extra key from somewhere else.
2. If you play games and use the Ctrl/Alt keys for actions, a slip of the finger can press the windows key and bring up the start menu over your game, and usually you die.
