Well it's about time, these were good months ago before refinement so they must be perfect now - they certainly look it!

No way I'm going to miss this sale even if it's at 4am :thumb:

lol! procrastination + high standards = takes forever to do things :'(

Wow, those look really amazing!  Great style.  Clean lines with no bubbles that I can see.  Smooth textures.  You are an elite sculptor and molder, Booper!

Looking great Boop!

Thanks guys!!  ;D ;D

Whew! It's been a looong time since I've updated. Mostly because I haven't had much to say! I've just been buying equipment and refining things my designs. It's been a long and arduous process but I've finally gotten a few of my artisans to a quality that I am fairly pleased with. Soooo, I thought it was time to update!

I'm hoping to do a small sale sometime in the next month and I'll post the color options about a week before the sale. For now, here are a few baby blue single-shot caps to show you guys where I'm at now!

I'm also working on some topre/alps blanks and few other projects that I'll be posting at some point! Although I probably will only do the Lillith, MonKey and Astronaut in the first sale.

Some colors!

I figured I'd try and do the hose on the astrodude and the face on the monkey a different color. It went pretty well I think. Also these are aluminum cast! I really like the way the aluminum feels so I've pretty much just been using that for my grey.. it makes the cap a tad heavier and it has a nice sound when you tap it against stuff. haha

Well, it's not like I'm pouring molten aluminum or anything! It's just cold casting by adding aluminum powder. But thank you!

Oh haha that shows how much I don't know about casting. I was thinking you had made some sort of clay mold and were pouring metal while wearing some sort of shiny suit with a welding mask.

Still looks awesome though!

Pretty well?!  That's sad to read.  If these caps still aren't up to your standards of awesomeness I don't see how anything ever could be, your whole life must be a constant stream of disappointment...

If these are the colours for the first sale it's looking like the first by any artisan where I'd be happy with any cap on offer - they'll look amazing with Hyperfuse!

Haha, well, I think a lot of artistic folks struggle with their own work. It's hard to not notice flaws on something you create when you envisioned perfection in your head. I wouldn't say I'm constantly disappointed, but maybe I'm just in denial! haha. I personally feel like I have a certain amount of responsibility to potential consumers to produce something of high quality if I am going to take their hard earned money.

Also THANK YOU for the compliment! I'll likely have a few more color combos in the first sale but these are some of them for sure.

And thank all you guys who encourage me! It really helps keep me motivated! <3

What do you think about drilling the sprues in the second half of  the mold instead of gluing poles onto the keycap? I'm having trouble getting the poles to stand :(

You can also put a guiding rod connected to the sprues. This plus gluing them in place should work really well.

Awesome guide, helps a lot. And the keycaps are awesome love the colors.

I'm a complete newbie were it comes to cast resing, I would like to know which ones you think are best and will they accept any pigment ( like mixing some watercolor paint with the 2 part resin for example. Sorry if it sound stupid, I really have no clue how resin works   :-X )
