Final question from me... will a gateron clear top fit if I wanted to swap it up?

Yes it should, however it would need to be the smd compatible one. The casing is the same.

Bought 24 to possibly use in a numpad! I'm excited to see how these feel compared to my lubed gateron blacks.

Hope the switches will cost the same for paypal users (70 bucks for 110 switches - excluding the paypal fee). Anyway i appreciate your effort.  :thumb:

If you made a group buy for cherry silent switches you would get better results and feedback.

Cherry silent switches are super smooth because they use new molds.  :thumb:

Question: Will the ivory housings of the switches be translucent so that SMD LEDs will shine through the switches?

zisb answered on reddit:
Hey!
No they are opaque http://i.imgur.com/5XGQbqLh.jpg (Bonus Snek)
However they are white, so they will still let through a tad more light than say an all black switch.

Not sure if it's been asked.. These are said to be factory lubed so are they lubed to the point where it's not really necessary to relube or are they just lightly lubed like the zealios?

I know something else that might encourage people to join earlier, it starts with a P and ends with ayPal. How is the status on that btw?

This is what I'm curious about. And do we know the lube they will be using to lube the switches? Is it krytox?

They are lubed to the point where you don't need extra. The lube that we are using is in-house to the manufacturer.
