Make sure everything is packaged safely and securely for their trip to Convict Territory as soon as humanly possible.

As soon as SP puts them in my hot little hands, I'll do my best to get everyone's order out as quickly and safely as possible.  ;D

@HendyZone, please PM me your address so that I can update matt3o's order to change ownership to you.

Wow! The set looks amazing on the Camo Filco

Looking at this pic makes me regret not having ordered the WASD cluster as well.

They are not flat-rate boxes, just Priority Mail boxes to be used for larger orders, which we're shipping by weight to save on shipping costs.

I don't suppose there are any extra of these? Looking for a full keycap set for an ErgoDox and I love this scheme.

- Same as the Valentine GB, there will be no extra set for sale after this GB closed. So please put your order in before it's too late ;) The GB for these Spherical, High profile Military themed keysets, along with all its unique legends will be run one time only - it's NOW!
your best bet is to keep a look out in the classified section for people wanting to sell there order and im not sure the ergodox add on ever got made...

Good one Mashby, looking forward to seeing these babies soon.  Make sure everything is accounted for, meaning don't send out less/more keys than necessary, if it means we all wait for everything to be itemized and accounted for then that's fine.

Plus of course pace yourself, don't end up working 24/7 all day and night - for this Group Buy, you'll drive yourself insane.

Because you happen to live in Vietnam then I suspect it probably won't happen.  I know for a fact if Mashby summoned super-human skills to sort and package thousand's of key-caps to everyone on the list then he'll truly be the KING of sorting and postage.

But because the poor guy is by himself then everything will happen slowly particularly the 'sorting' phase.  I feel sorry for him because in the end all he will get from most here on GH would be abuse and slander as time goes by.  Only speaking due to dozens of previous Group Buys that I have experienced close up.  Geekhackers can be a real mean and nasty bunch when their caps are not delivered on time....... only speaking from real life experience here, not making any fast or loose accusations.

I don't think there is any way possible I could unseat King Klaxon, even if I had an army of smurfs to aid my efforts.  :))

I'm going to do everything I can to get these orders out as fast as possible and my dining room stands at the read to receive the caps. This will be my first order fulfillment, so I do ask that everyone be patient as I sort through the process (pun intended).

Mashby should pour all the key caps into a huge pit then swim in it like Scrooge McDuck in his money pit.

On a serious note, I don't know how Mashby can do it.

I'd check each order like eight times before I sent it out because I'm so anal.

Good luck mashby

You need to have a powerful force of will to even attempt counting, sorting and then packaging correctly EVERY order that was paid for.  That alone would put me in Shenton Park  :thumb: .

I'd be screaming blue murder and scratching the walls for several months after doing this type of work.  Everything I look at will remind me of going through that horror, even when I sleep at night, the dreaded chill as it comes over you.  In the US, I'll be clutching an Ares-16 - climbing the local church tower to seek my revenge on what I suffered through.

Needless to say, I will never be 'normal' ever again........

Your keyboard collection must be epic at this point.

Mostly connected to PC's around the house.  I thought of only supplying a couple mechanical keyboards around but the Mrs enjoys using them hence my mission is too fit out all the comps in every room of the house - with them keyboards  :thumb: .

The cousins, aunts and uncles all like using them as well.  They like how each room has a different keyboard with keys attached that they have never seen before.  Amazing how the little ones always get excited when they see some colours before them.

that looks freakin awesome man! :)

one thing bugging me about the SA profile, since i never had those. do the stabilized keys grind on a filco or is there enough clearance for the stab wires?

also, did you have to do the plastic bag mod to the stab keys or do the standard filco stab stems fit tightly enough?

my experience with cherry profile and stock filco stab stems wasn't good so far - they were not tight enough and were falling out even with a plastic bag mod and i really didn't want to superglue them, that's why i'm asking.

@skuko: I can tell you that the stems of the SP's SA keys are not so tight, so you might still have to use the plastic bag / sticky tape mod if you're having problems with your cherry / SP's DCS keys now. And the longer keys that need stabilizers can be used normally, no problem.

I'm happy to report that I've completed the receiving process. Everything has been unboxed, counted and sorted to ensure that everything that has been ordered has been received! No drama, no missing keys or sets.

I've also put together a photo set on Flickr so that you can get some insight into the process. You can find it at this link.

So What's Next?
1. Create the Ergodox Sets from the bulk blanks
2. Print the "Check Sheets" for quality control
3. Assemble everyone's individual order
4. Send invoices
5. Receive payment
6. Ship Orders
7. Handle exceptions & errors
8. Have a beer.  ;)
