I try not to watch MST to preserve fond memories, it felt like they were doing intelligent sick burns when I was little, But watching a few episodes now, they're really no better than youtube clowns/ reaction channels.
I respectfully disagree. It really depends on which era you watch. The Mike era was during the transition from Comedy Central to the Science Fiction Network, on the tail of Joel Hodgeson's burn out. Laserblast was featured in the last season for Comedy Central. I'd always recommend for people to skip to season 2, and then once you reach season 12, maybe back-track to KMTA-TV/season 1. I like seasons 11-12, but if you're older you might not enjoy them as much.
If you don't like snarky commentary with occasional high energy bursts, then maybe skip MST3K altogether. Especially you hardcore Curb Your Enthusiasm types.
