Blue gray is beautiful and unique. Design is very nice. I really like the bottom and the side profile. Wish if there were more options for plate colors, but that's not a huge deal. If it had some sort of led indicator it would be perfect. It's damn close.

I wish it was a little heavier like 2.2kg. There are 60%'s that are heavier like the fjell and x60. How thick is the brass plate? Is 6063 a lighter aluminum than 6061? I'm just wondering why this case is so much lighter than other TKLs.

Because it's ridiculously good looking. All of the other colors are very nice but none beat the titanium by a long shot IMO, closest other color is the blue grey.

I have one in mine too but I don't have the invoice. As many others and the OP mentioned in this thread today - they are having some issues accessing the submitted forms on Google, so hopefully we should get our invoices soon.

Do people usually go with WKL or WK option? Does WKL make it more rare or what?
Most people think WKL looks better, but get whatever you want. It usually comes out about 60/40 one way or the other.

Nice I went with white(mao) and red plate. The only linear switches I've tried are cherry silvers on my core. I like them, but missed the bump/click from my noob entry keeb. Zealios are wonderful. Hopefully I'm not missing any compatibility issues, but I want to use 75g tactile oetemu switches.

I think the issue is with the Whitefox on Kickstarter which can't use the Halo switches apparently but the K Type can. I am part of both, so hopefully at least get one with the Halo switches and see if they are good.

the CF plate supports it but it looks like the PCB might not. it didn't in the china GB, so unless they're changing it for this one, i don't think it will. see if the runners comment on this at all

CF plate adds an extra cost, yeah, you can only get an extra plate/pcb. it makes it easier for them to support it

Black is anodized black, MAO black is Microarc Oxodized black. MAO finishes are traditionally VERY fragile, I'd recommend staying away.

Any reason why more experienced members like you are on the fence? Outside of just personal preference, of course.
this is bottom mount, which is generally one of the worse methods for mounting a plate feel wise (top mount is the best feasible option, integrated plate is the best one period)
the only good bottom mount board is the KMAC 1, and that's mostly because it's a KMAC
it's also really light for a TKL, at only 1.8kg, even with the weight installed
there are better options coming soon for the price, no 1 is coming mid november, and that's the board that has people really hyped
not that this board is bad, it's just not as good as some of the other options that are coming

easy man, CAMP is reliable. the C225 has already run GB for 3 times as I remember.
I believe CAMP is producing this 80% GB and another 60% GB at the same time.

For anyone nervous: By showing that the boards are at the very least in progress, this should set you at ease. There's no reason to make the boards if they were just out to take money. Camp team is well known and very respected in the Chinese community. They also ran SA and soon GMK camping.
There's a culture in the SEA communities to not share updates unless there is good news. I agree it can be very scary to not hear anything for a few weeks or months, but now that production is confirmed (and seemingly near completion), it is a very good sign.

Did they fix the spacing on the bottom housing clips that made it difficult to clip into the plate on install? My R1s are the perfect switch with some lube imo but my hands hurt like **** every time I build with them.

According to renders on the front and the fact there's also winkey version, it should support at least:
1.5 1u 1.5u 7u 1.5u 1u 1.5u (where the 1u's are either blockers or keys)
1.25u 1.25u 1.25u 6.25u 1.25u 1.25u 1.25u 1.25u (standard TKL)
in china, people also like to do:
1.5u, 1u (blocker), 1.25u, 6.25u, 1.25u 1.25u, 1u (blocker), 1.5u
so this might be possible as well

Never done it before but it looks straight forward - sand it with 1200 then 2000 grit sandpaper, buff it with a polish compound, then apply a few layers of lacquer.I'm planning to polish brass weight, I'll post the results next week whenever I get the chance!Thatd be awesome. and personally i'd just inlay it if i got an engraving like that
i'm thinking about doing my mira's logo with a dark blue since there's an anodizing shadow in it

but it looks like this weight is in okay shape. It's a very cool keyboard. I wish the top of the case had a brass backing like the logo on the PAD. This did turn out more blue-green than I had hoped,

Good work! How do you feel about Hako True?They're not my usual cup of tea, but I've been enjoying typing on them. I went in without high expectations and so I was not let down by them. Feeling them just alone as a single switch or just with a cap on one switch they feel terrible, but when you actually put them together on a board it's quite enjoyable. For reference I generally like a nice tactile switch on the heavier side, 78g zeal is my go to (I pound tend to pound on the keys), and my favorite is BKE redux heavy. My best description of this switch is a linear switch that gets heavier as it gets toward the bottom. It's interesting. One this I will say is that they get really heavy as they get toward the bottom, I spent almost a full day typing at work last week, and my fingers were feeling a bit fatigued. This probably wouldn't have been as bad if I didn't pound on the keys so hard, they don't get heavy until the bottom, so if I wasn't slamming them it would probably be different. I'm not sure I would build another board with them, but overall I'm happy with how this one turned out. They're definitely not for everyone, but I would definitely recommend trying them out; it's a pretty different typing experience from anything else I've tried.

Because not all keyboards are run by companies, but individuals with other day jobs. They don't have the time/resources to handle hundreds of units, or the liability (can you imagine doing a hobby GB and something ****s up and now you are on the hook for five figures?).
RAMA.WORKS is one of those 'companies' you are looking for, they tend to sell multiple hundred of their designs per group buy.

No need to remove, but I had to type like 8 times until it actually worked as its an awful captcha to use. Plus this "A popular serial bus for keyboard connectivity:" is basically useless to prevent any kind of spam. But if its gone after 5 posts then happy days

I wasnt speaking about the individuals, of course you need to have a company to run loads of various tasks if you go for a large amounts of order, but I have been searching for like 8h for a keyboard like on this post without spending 1k obviously, but no luck in finding anything available and if there is anything its not 80%. But thanks for the RAMA.WORKS, I will have a look at them

That's just kind of the deal with this hobby; most everything is limited supply and if it's not, few people want it generally. Your best bet is to just monitor threads of builds you like; and when the gb opens take your opportunity. You wait a lot in this hobby. You wait for a keyboard you like in IC phase, you wait for the gb to come, then you wait for them to be built, and wait for it to ship. It's just how it is. Like previously mentioned, many of those that run gbs are just hobbyists themselves.

I see, thanks for the heads up. Will have to wait I guess. I am not in a rush anyway, but I thought at least 1 company would be making them non stop

High end customs not so much. You can get a decent board on several websites they just might not be... what you seek if you're in this thread; I'm not sure if you're looking for an aluminum casing in particular, but you can try 1upkeyboards.com, zfrontier, kbdfans.. There are several; but I'll stop so I don't further derail the thread.
Yeah I am after the TKL aluminum casing. I have seen a few amazing designs here, but it seems a bit harder to get a hands on a nice custom piece than I thought. I went to these websites but its either sold out or not what I am looking for. I think I will just have to wait for the opportunity
