Have any of you eliminated the mouse altogether?
« on: Mon, 13 May 2019, 14:03:24 »
I've been trying to eliminate the mouse altogether, just to improve my speed.  I don't play games so I think it's doable.

Anyone else eliminate the mouse completely?  Are there any times where you can't get around using a mouse even if briefly?

Sometimes , yes if it's a bad mouse.

But if it's a good mouse, then i will not eliminate it.

Isn't using the mouse a lot slower, why go back to it if you can manage without it?  My reason was that I was too lazy to practice and lookup hotkey shortcuts etc but I taped a little chart to my monitor.

Only on my Arch laptop, on which I use i3 as my dm. I use the trackpad in Chromium, though.

no, because I don't want to make everything more difficult for no other reason than to feel different and special.

Takes about a month to get used to mouse shortcuts. After that, I find using the mouse to be weird.

But I still use it for browsing weeb comics.
