I'd grab a set if the font wasn't italicized. If I'm not mistaken it's the same font the poker pbt sets used (which I'm quite fond of actually).

Any chance non italicized sets could happen? What about two-tone sets, like white alphanumeric/grey modifiers?

Also, are the spacebars the same thickness as the rest of the caps? The pic with the white and rainbow spacebars beside each other makes it seem like they're thinner.

I would be all over this if it was two-tone grey modifiers/white base with a non-italicized font. Damn, that would be VERY exciting.

No, do NOT try this. I've extensively experimented with dying these thick PBT and KBC PBT caps, and they do not yield good results. I've tried RIT dye and several professional dyes, and they all are off-color and produce scratches-like marks on the caps. That's because these caps have stress marks that can't be seen with their natural color, but when you try to dye them, these stress marks will show up very clearly. The model M PBT caps should be fine, but not these ones.

I think total I spent $70 on dye, and 3 sets of blank caps.

White/Grey Set is now available for order. The colored spacebar in the picture is not a thick pbt one, it's from a regular pbt keyset. The thickness of a spacebar is the same as the other keys in a thick pbt keyset.

Wow, that's really awesome, feng. Of course you can use the picture. I'll order my set now.

You can use this one without the "not a real product" part, since that could be confusing.

EDIT: Just one last thing. When you say they'll have the WYSE two-tone layout, does that mean the Fn keys will all be grey, instead of only F5-F8 being grey and the rest white, like on the mock-up? I think most of us agree the classic dual-two Fn layer of the first picture looks nicer.

When I say WYSE set, I meant it would look exactly like the set in your pic. F5-F8 are grey, and the rest F keys are white.

I would like to know this also. The non-italicized font, similar to the one on the KBT Oni/One or even the Poker (which is probably more similar), would probably make this keyset one of the best ever sold here in my opinion. I love these fonts and it's hard to not imagine the whole GeekHack not going insane over it, since the main issue with the current sets is the italic font. Would be really hard not to order a second set.

Please, please make it happen, feng. Even if it's only for the white/grey set.
