I was watching the twitch vods not youtube. when streaming mute the dashboard so that it doesn't loopback in obs.

to be even more clear I am talking about the vods from here...

the issues we had this time around HAVE to be fixed for next time. twitch is really the best platform for livestreaming, but we need better reliability on it. the geekhackers account has been unlocked, but naturally it's too late. NOT happy with how that went.

Well I am sad it happened, but we can't blame any of you. Let's just hope this won't happen next time. Let's also hope next Keycon will be close enough to me so I can attend!!!

halverson usually drives down for keycon midwest, and he's only a little south of you most of the time. hit him up.

Youtube worked very well from when it was up.  I would be glad to help you test that as a solution in the coming months.

yes, i think that's the way forward. it also helps that it ties up with the pre-recorded videos and guides. one question i have though is whether vods are auto-archived like they are on twitch

Well, 5-6 hours ride is indeed a little south, and getting free one weekend from the family isn't so easy, but I will consider this option for sure next time!
