I have no idea if this can be connected to the pc or not. Probably not...

(Attachment Link)

Gorgeous board. You might be able to connect it with some drivers, but more likely it would have to be handwired. What kind of print method was used on the keycaps?
I proxy anything including keyboards (キーボード / 鍵盤), from both Japan (日本) and China (中國). For more information, you may visit my dedicated webpage here: https://www.keyboards.es/proxying.html

Thank you very much, they seem to be all doubleshot.

I've found this:
https://github.com/babarrett/g80-9009

To make it work, I'll need to learn a lot of new skills. Soldering. C programming. Not sure that it's worth it!

If you don't want to do it yourself, there appears to be an AIO solution that you can buy for about $35, which is a fair price for a controller.

No, but the seller has near perfect scores and the item itself has two good reviews on it.

I only got these because the CPU was fairly cheap and I got a pretty much free NVME drive lol, should be a lot better than my FX8320 which was playing a little ****y though bit pricey on the RAM ._. for what it is

ddr4 prices suck.

I would have upgraded my system already if I could just use the ton of ddr3 I already own.

Gonna have to just suck it up, and upgrade pretty soon.

Yeah I paid £179 for that memory kit, very very expensive considering I paid £60 for a 16gb 1600mhz kit a year or too ago

Also worst part is Samsung apparently just had a power cut and lost 3.3% of there production due to it so expect even higher prices .-.

I bought 32GB of Corsair DDR4 two years ago and paid $160 for it. I was looking at RAM recently and was astounded that prices hadn't dropped over time but indeed had gone up.

prices spiked cause of the production shortage, then manufacturers realized they could still get people to pay that price for it

GID 60% case! That was quick, only took about a week from China.

Obviously you can't see anything as it's off-white on an off-white table in the light.

Some new caps for my Model M from Unicomp (APL set, RGB mods, GH keys, & spacebars) & some new caps for my Dell AT101W from mechanicalkeyboards.com (Tai-Hao Dolch ALPS mount).
191729-0
191731-1
191733-2
I had to cut the stem in half on the Caps Lock key & wedge it into the switch with pieces of plastic toothpicks as shims. Then the sapcebar just wouldn't work since it has MX style stabilizer mounts. I tried using Costar inserts, but they just bound the spacebar up pretty bad. Just joined BlindAssassin111's GB for a 50 pack of those MX top ALPS sliders & 2 sets of the stabilizer inserts. My plan is to get a matching Tai-Hao 3800 stepped Caps with an MX stem & using the inserts to get the Dolch spacebar installed on this board properly. Tempted to join in for more but, I'm planning on using them more as a solution to the available ALPS key cap sets than their intended purpose of making a whole ALPS board MX cap compatible. So 50 sliders & 32 stab inserts should last me a good while.

First shipment has arrived! Two Alps SKCM Blue boards as well as an SKCL Green board. Most of the others are some kind of NEC switch (white, cream, and black NEC Ovals) as well as a few other interesting switch types. I'll explain more later once I'm able to spend more time on documenting them.

I'm with your there. I got a great deal when I built my system with an i7 3770k, 32 GB ddr3, Samsung Pro SSD, and a high end Seasonic power supply. It's been going strong for the past few years and expect to get 5-6 years more on it. I just upgraded to a GTX 1050 4 GB video card last fall to go with a new monitor last fall.

I'm glad I updated my PC right before leaving college, I don't have any motivation to take it apart these days. My PC should last a good 5-6 years more before it even needs upgrades so that's good.

Yeah I bought a 980 Ti for about half price right before the 1000 series released, and considering I don't play any recent games anyways it is more than enough. Usually I emulate more than anything so that combined with the i7-5820K is fine for me. Not that I game much these days anyways...

That's more than enough keyboards for one person, but... I had about ten times as many a few years ago. I think I'll keep the Filco but as for the rest, I'll probably sell at some point.
