looks really nice but the shinethrough on the side and the RGB lines are really inconsistent

@granola_bar_enthusiast Do you mean how the lights are segmented? If so, the lighting is deliberately segmented like on the front of KITT from Knight Rider.

When you say "the accent piece on the bottom will be removed", to what are you referring? Are you getting rid of the stainless weight? Seems like a critical piece of the design language to me so I'm hoping I'm misunderstanding.

Accent piece was added in v5. So pretty sure it's not the weight.

Looks to be this triangular bit.

In the video that shows the bottom, it is a triangular piece that is attached to the weight.

If you download the video, the quality will be much higher and you might be able to see the accent a bit better. It had the Type K logo engraved in the middle of it which you can kind of see in the video.

I see what you're talking about now. Thanks for the explanation all. So the plan is to go with the straight weight alone again?

i just didn't like how the light-row on the left side was very inconsistent and how there were gaps in between colors

How much it is going to cost and for how many months ahead I have to save for this amount - is the questions in my head when I really want to get one.

And I believe gok is very careful in planning and also in estimating the right time and form relative to the manufacturing and other logistics to bring this project to the GB phase the first time - so as to not burn himself by accident like many of those normal and nice and capable GB-runners who ended up having to go rogue and hide because of financial problems due to mishaps during productions.

Being actively worked on, not dead. It will be publicly sold at one point. New PCB proto has recently been delivered and gok is testing it with the latest case proto.

Gok also updating the original post with proto count. We're at six now, so it'll happen eventually. Hopefully next one is up to his standards.
