Samu:
thankyou for posting the link!

ok it was a bit silly to put seven TrackPoints

currently it takes some imagination to see where I am going with this..

I can't wait to get more thermoplastic to make some more practical designs

I was trying to illustrate how you can map a huge number of functions onto a small number of  TrackPoints.   it uses the space very well.

I also hate using TrackPoints as a mouse pointer.  something just doesn't  feel right about it.

I showed jedipad.org to Ted,  the inventor of the TrackPoint and he seems to like it :)

when this device is complete,  it will need its own forum, because it will be both a pointing device and a keyboard.  but I want to use it together with voice recognition software.. but that is a lot of work!

if anyone is up for helping ( especially with c#  coding ), please get in touch!!

I actually really like the trackpoint...much better than using a touchpad.

Welcome to geekhack Samu!  It's always nice to see someone willing to push the boundaries and your project is certainly doing that.  Personally, I love the keyboard as my primary interface with my computer.  But one need only to look at something like the Wii to see that new interfaces can catch on and be great improvements over their predecessors.

Keep up the good work and definitely keep us informed.
