DCD WLK-MN

Introducing the DCD WLK-MN

Introducing our latest Keycaps set inspired by a retro classic! Taking cues from an iconic device from the past, this set combines the nostalgia of yesteryear with the modern functionality of mechanical keyboards. Featuring a sleek color scheme of blue, gray, and orange, these keycaps will bring a pop of personality to any custom keyboard setup. Made with high-quality PBT material, these keycaps are built to last and provide a comfortable typing experience.
Upgrade your keyboard with a touch of nostalgia and a touch of modernity.

(Disclamier:I couldn't find the correct katakana sublegends to make the renders so the final product may vary).

Looks great, as said on Discord a 40s kit with orange on white R2 keys would be absolutely lit !

Also there's 2 R2 1.5 pipe keys in the kitting with no difference between them

GLWIC !

Hi! I have thought about the 40 kit, I just have to see how many people are interested in that mini kit!
And the 1.5 pipe I had not noticed! I'll fix it!

Row 1 End and Page Down shouldn't be accented. They're used in upper rows of 1800 boards like Cherry G80-1800 and Hiney HBCP.

Also label your spacebar kit. Would be good to see an ISO novelty as well.

Just wondering whether you should look at the sublegends (or lack of) for the 1u ISO keys and the split backspace pipe key.

I'm seeing more and more GMK sets prefix their name with CYL but nobody is explaining what it means. Can you explain, please?

Not for me due to lacking proper international support, but the colours are good. glwic.

I might be wrong but with the release of their new MTNU profile GMK decided to name their original cherry profile CYL in order to differentiate the 2. Again don't quote me on this as I might be mistaken.

Personally feel like the blue set market is a bit saturated right now. especially with stock gmk colors.

While you've got some distinguishing features and a great theme going here, GMK Striker and DCS Blue Moon are still in stock right now. PBTFans Klein blue recently ran. Prussian Blue (hopefully) running soon.

obviously a lot of effort went into this IC, and I am not trying to say you did a bad job here... just pointing out an area of concern

Would love it if the spacebar kit was in orange instead of the blue. Never understood why people don't do the accent color for spacebars more often.

For sure this needs a 40s kit, its perfect for the TPS40 which is a Walkman inspired 40s board, if there was a 40s kit then its a no brainer for me.

After several months without any update, I finally have more news about this set!

First of all! The novelties have been redesigned by the talented Angel https://www.instagram.com/amfriends.co/

Second: The set will be on sale at Drop this year, I don't have a final date yet but I will announce it on my networks.

Third: I updated the renders with the new novelties and better colors!

See you soon!

I've one small remark regarding the R1 nav keys: in a common 1800/CP setup like this or this, the R1 Insert, Delete... keys are usually located above the numpad. The way the current base kit is set up, the topmost row would have to have some white keys in it on a 1800/CP board. If you're looking to avoid that, and also because num row accents are not optional with this base kit, I'd suggest adding blue copies of R1 Insert, Delete, Home, End, PgUp, PgDn to the kit. (The white R1 End, PgDn keys can be removed in that case, but the white R1 Delete should stay in for 65% support.)

Thank you for the feedback! Ill forward it to Bingo!

Hey! DCX is double shot (ABS or PBT) and DCD is PBT dye sub. That's the only difference!

DCD - Drop Cherry dye-sublimation (PBT dyesubs)
DCX - Drop Cherry doubleshot (ABS)

reverse dyesub in that color? GL

Yeah, wish he would go with KeyKobo, as it's about 99% identical to GMK.
