I'm just going to throw this out there but this time around can we please try and expand the set a little - I know that to get to GMK MOQ numbers it's good to have a lower price given how expensive these sets already are but I would love to see support for more layouts and for this set AN HHKB KIT!

Oh and can we please never go back to R5 profile for the arrow keys / wkl bottom row k thnx

I really like the R5 modifiers, but I can live without them, it that makes more people to join. Regarding price, I really cannot see the difference in price with other sets, even SP made ones, with child subsets may cost you the same, or even more than a full GMK set.

Um, not gonna lie, row 5 is like the literal point of sets made using the og cherry tooling.

Ahh that must be why all the great GMK sets like Hyperfuse and Ivan's Dolch chose not to use it at all

I hope not, the recent TA experience was not good; besides, MD has dropped many countries from shipping, so some brothers may not be able to buy the set from them.

Honestly, I don't see how anyone else could've handled it better. I blame it on using custom colors and the display trays. No one else could've prevented discoloration, but the trays could've been secured better.
But then you'd have long periods of shipping them since a lone GB leader would've done it on their own.

I have had some issues with MD that I woun't detailed here to avoid derailing the thread; but, I will support what it would be in the best interest for the community at large, I still have a ConUS address so lack of shipping to some countries is not an issue for me, but it could be for some. The quality defects appear to be related with high production volumes along with the use of some plastic compound mixtures, additives and pigments not previously tested for the legends, but the packaging was all on MD.

I'm really interested in the SNES set.  Would it be possible to include an option for alternating grey and dark grey (matching the alpha and mod key colors) F-Row keys and Esc key in a side kit?

Is there a reason the "modifier" keys in the numpad portion are purple rather than grey like the rest of the mods?

I was just going to comment on this, and also the WASZ. I'm sure it was mentioned, but I couldn't seen to find why.

For the numpad mods, I just thought purple was a nice aesthetic touch that adds a little more color to the set. However, I would be just fine changing them to the regular mod color. I am happy to go with the majority on this.

For the WASZ, the point is that it's supposed to look like the controller d-pad, while [;'/ are ABXY.

I'd love to have purple mods, since this is an SNES theme. But that's just me.  ;D
Also, I figured the WASZ was in homage to the button layout. It was just weird not seeing WASD for the first time, but glad the Famicom/PAL SNES colors are there too!

Sidenote:

Im asking becuase im pretty sure we all want the colors to be accurate with minimal sun and dirt damage.

This might be too late to ask but the r4 1u keys that are blank, can they have a yellow windows icon or an option for one?

Im asking becuase if you put a 7u spacebar with the shift keys, and 1.5 ctrl/alt mods it will look off without yellow to balance it out.

this is a good point. I think the reason it is this way, is because last time GMK said they couldn't do doubleshot windows logos on 1u keys, and that it would have to be pad printed, so I went with blank. However, those were R5. They might be able to do it for R4. I'll check, and if they can, then I fully support this change.
