Found this while cleaning. I have no idea how I got into this band but I listen to them often.

some pick ups

Being that I've live in Columbus most of my life that album art really intrigued me, I'll have to check him out, didn't know Columbus had any rap scene.

he's a dope battle rapper IMO. love the stuff he's done and what he did with the weathermen. sadly they had a falling out and aesop joined and ruined the group.

I'm really picky about my rap albums, need to get some Childish Gambino, and Chance The Rapper once I get some extra funds.  I'll check it out for sure, somewhat recently branching out  so I'm always looking around for ideas.

I love it, it's the only one I've had so I can't say it's better than x/y but it's super sexy and the cartridge seems to be the big thing when considering quality of sound so I upgraded it when purchasing.

Edit: MBDTF isn't a great press has a lot of popping/noise, they actually stopped selling it for awhile because so many people wanted returns. I ended up finding it on Uban Outfitters website a few months back and bought it anyway just to have it in my collection. It's pretty awesome:

dude i can't get into childish. like he's aight but just can't vibe to his stuff. i should give him another try. im usually more of a fan of like darker/grimey stuff. gangster rap, horror type ****. love it. deep voices and dark beats <3

yeah i asked LSB about it and he said they were good for their price. i wanna get a red one to break up the all black set up i have. i'll be checking it out soon.

i saw the vinyl for sale on amazon like a month back but i had already bought so much **** i needed to pump the brakes on my spending and when i was okay with buying it was already sold out. sucks that it wasn't pressed that well but like you said, it's one of those must have albums.

also here's a link to my stuff so u dont have to look for it

i've grown by a bit more albums since the vinyl bug bit me hard >.<

That's quite a nice collection, saw a few in there I need to buy and a few to check out,  I've been a fan of Donald Glover (Gambino) since sometime in 2005 when I found his sketch groups website Derrick Comedy and have followed his career since, I understand not being into his rap style however I personally love the clever and sometimes punny rap without being too Lonely Island-esk there just seems to be a lot more thought and intelligence behind his lyrics which I really enjoy.  If you haven't heard of Skepta I think he'd fall into that category and just released and album recently.

I think we have the same speakers, except mine are the white variant Audio Engine A5?

Thanks!  And yeah I know his style of rap. I just like a little "harder" rap.

And yup. Those are a5s! Lovely speakers. Worth their price.

A couple of weeks ago when I was visiting my parents I was given my uncle's old turntable, so my dad let me have his receiver, speakers, and some of his record collection.

Whoa, cool!  I didn't realize Michael Giacchino did the score to Inside Out.  He did the score for Lost, but that was the last I followed him closely.  :D

Jebus H. Chrysler! That's some of the best album art I've ever seen...and I've seen a lot. I haven't played the game but the soundtrack is retro 80s electro, right? I might have to spring for that.  :p

Wow, that's quite a collection, there! Your uncle has/had good taste.  Floyd and Zeppelin are two of my favourite bands.
I had a very similar NAD receiver that was given to me but I couldn't get it to work. It would power on but that was it. I ended up giving it back to the previous owner.  :(
