This is pretty cool if you're willing to dish out $220+ for a limited-edition collectible Cherry keyboard. Other than the novelty/collectible factor, it's not worth paying the RealForce price tag for Cherry switches.

If you just want brown switches you can get a g80-1865LXNEU-2 for $130 shipped in the US. this would be with US legends
If you want any other switch type, they are all available on ebay right now  for ~$150 shipped to the US as g80-1867 models. these are US+Hangul legends

so that basically makes the cost of the case be $100

Well, I don't really understand what is being offered.  But I want that padded case.  Even thought the photo says "made in Germany", I'm assuming these will be made in China.  Also they will have lasered ABS keycaps, I think?  But if it's lasered POM, and you get that padded case, I might be very interested in getting one with MX Clear switches.

Lasered POM keycaps.All the keyboards of G80-1865 are made in Germany absolutely.

I don't think they will discontinue G80-186X. But then again ZF seem to like to cut away things for the bottom line, and not care about keeping up with market demand. It's only that they make some limited quantities in other switch for Asia market again. It's not the first time Asia market get special Chery products, or at least get them first like the 3800/3850. For rest of world 1865 have only been available in brown switch for several years. Just like limited with reds before few years ago was Asia only, nothing new.
