Was wondering if any meaty fingered typists in the Northwest had a interest in another meetup when restrictions get lifted. Was thinking Leavensworth had some cool venues.

Sounds legit, Id be down to host if a place is needed. I have a office space in Seattle. Have held events for different things before.

Sounds cool as well, hopefully I can get an IC going to spread around on both Reddit and Deskthority as well. Will be vital to planning both a space and proper venue corresponding to the number wanting to show up with a date. June 30th is the date restrictions lift so it would have to be after then.

For the offered office space, is there any details on capacity? Had time to put together the form and wanted to include that to inform people who may see it without accessing Geekhack.

capacity of 20-30 people depending on how dense you would want it to be, great for smaller meet ups. Currently used as a clothing store but i can move the racks and hangers to make room without any issue.  https://imgur.com/a/bnoCcL5 (https://imgur.com/a/bnoCcL5)

If you are reading this and have not filled out the interest check yet, the current date I plan on using the data from the interest check is August 7th, leaving just over a week left for responses. After this the date and time will be formally posted on here, after short deliberation on this thread, by August 14th. At the moment the cheapest and most popular venue is the Seattle office space kindly offered earlier in this thread by PC Concepts. I'll be creating a dedicated meetup discord later tomorrow as I get the time.

So for a sitrep, currently awaiting confirmation from our venue host, PC Concepts, for any details on an agreeable date. Currently the most popular dates are Aug 28 and Sep 3, an alteration from the previous conclusion. Of course the host has the final say on the specific date and I am willing to share all the answers anonymously if it is desired.
