I'm looking to bring Percent Studio's Canoe 65% board to GH/MM etc. I'm in contact with Percent Studios. As of now this is just a rough interest check with lots of details to be ironed out.

Hi everyone, unfortunately we will have to launch the GB on 05.11.2017 instead at the same time (12pm SGT) as some IRL stuff cropped up. To compensate for that delay, here's some news.
1. We will be having 45 units of the top 2 chosen combos as shown previously
2. We will have 15+- units (TBC on exact units) of Ceramic white units (white top and bottom, red plate and weight)
3. We will default back to a raffle instead, since it'll be a more accurate way to calculate fees etc.
Raffle:
Thread will be up in the next 24 hours, Google form link will be posted at the stipulated time with 24 hours time limit with a countdown timer.
Apologies to the FCFS supporters but this is IMO the fairer way to distribute the units without making people camp for 2 time slots, it also gives me time to invoice.
Additional plate + pcb for existing Canoe owners:
I will have a link to the webstore, you do not need to join the raffle if you're only getting the PCB + plate provided you already have a Canoe, or plan to do a build with no case.
You'll be able to buy just the combo needed (cyan plate + pcb).

I’ve got four boards that do cause issues like this even without leds. Two pok3rs and two coolermaster TKLs. All four are about 4-5 years old and have cherry switches. I swapped out the MX blues in one for Kailh bronze and the issue seems to be gone.
I will say that if you use orings, stickers, or silent switches, you certainly will not notice (it’s that subtle)
I still plan to buy this board. Just wish they were South facing.

BeamingRobot ran the China GB? Also the IC form asks people what they want lol. I don’t think that would happen if it was just whatever happened last time.

That aside, Percent ran their buys on TB so that's pretty much FCFS. I'm gonna hold a raffle instead since we have quite a bit of interest (130 plus email addresses and counting)
Tentatively speaking it'll be open for 24 hours to ensure everyone who wants to try their luck get a chance, as much as I wanted to hold a rain dance competition only 6 people wanted that, so raffle it is.

No... its not... I get it, there are ways to game the system with FCFS to greatly increase your odds. That doesn't make you any more entitled to the GB than anyone else. If there are 150 people interested and only 50 slots, the only FAIR way raffle.

Now if you wanna argue it shouldn't be fair, we can have that conversation, but in my opinion, if there are 150 people who are interested in the GB then there are 150 people who should have a chance. You have good points, but flippers are still a problem with either method. Look at Fugus, they're all sold FCFS and there's tons of people who set up bots waiting for sales, then buy them no matter what just to resell for an instant profit.

I’d be upset with minimum post count, I’m quite active on reddit but have only just signed up here. The Canoe is what made me signup to GH in the first place if I was penalised because I hadn’t replied to a bunch of threads in here It would be unfair

I wish more would interact here, and not just have an account for raffles (such as PS).

This would legit break my heart, and I would regret lurking here for so many years. The Canoe is my dream 65% after trying 10+ other keyboards, and certainly have no intention of flipping. Have some consideration for interested quiet members

How about a compromise? A raffle with a set date and time that ends in 10 minutes. That way, gives enough people who are waiting to fill out the form and have a chance of actually getting one of these without having to be a super fast typer or have autofill whatever to get one. Will stop people who just pass by and are like "ooh a raffle today, i'll just sign up and decide if I actually want it later".If it's FCFS it'll be on monokei.us , as it's easier to work on the orders using the shop rather than manually changing up invoices and stuff, but i'll think about a PS style raffle as well.

TBH, fcfs and raffles have both been going pretty good for me lately. I have more confidence I could win fcfs, but I still think raffle is more fair.
As to the Kira, I for one was super glad people dropped out, cause I got to wake up to a reraffle :P but I get sending extra invoices is a pain.

It's actually three months since the first sale,In fact,still no news of the second round
The author's initial wish was to have a small sale every month.
The author's idea was good, but he didn't give the action,just saying,didn't keep it in his mind.
And the next sale is not in stock, only a group purchase(Even I don't know when the next sale will be), shipping date at least 3 months.
So we won't get the second round of the Canoe this year

May I ask which QQ channel and when? Percent hasn't been paying attention to QQ for months because he can't handle all the msg coming in.
And I don't remember any foreigner got kicked out of the Percent QQ group as oblotzky is there as well.
I guess you mixed up someone else with Percent, he doesn't even have time to manage his own QQ group and he isn't in too many QQ groups.

I'll release the usernames of those who got in the first round. You're welcome to try in the second round if you didn't manage to get in the first. It's not the most perfect solution, but I think it'll give other timezones a better chance.

So far I gather there'll be one US drop, one EU drop and one Asia drop. And that if you enter the first drop (I guess that would be Asia?) and you're not in, you can take a shot at the second round etc.
What times and timezones will each of the drops happen?
It would be great to have it all summarized in one post. :)

Apologies to the FCFS supporters but this is IMO the fairer way to distribute the units without making people camp for 2 time slots, it also gives me time to invoice.
Additional plate + pcb for existing Canoe owners:
I will have a link to the webstore, you do not need to join the raffle if you're only getting the PCB + plate provided you already have a Canoe, or plan to do a build with no case.
You'll be able to buy just the combo needed (cyan plate + pcb).

Hi everyone, unfortunately we will have to launch the GB on 05.11.2017 instead at the same time (12pm SGT) as some IRL stuff cropped up. To compensate for that delay, here's some news.
1. We will be having 45 units of the top 2 chosen combos as shown previously

Correct me if I am wrong beamingrobot, but based on the SKOG, I believe that was Microarc Anodized.. So probably the same? (MAO)
