The primary problem with big government is misappropriation of resources.

The government links with large industries, all the biggest contracts are government ones. The government hands out these contracts and carpet baggers enrich themselves, while the JOB either doesn't get done or is done poorly.

So where's the problem,  it's not the government structure, it's something far more fundamental.

HUMANS,  big (leaders) and small (flock), without oversight will invariably BUILD MONUMENTS to themselves. This takes many forms, big houses, multiple houses, expensive vanity goods, actual self monuments/sculptures, etc.

We as a species have conquered every human need.  All we have left are excessive wants that are near universally a waste of resources.

Conquer Excessive-wants at the Personal level, and the system will auto-correct.

HOW do we do that. Communism. It's never worked before, because we've never truly had it.

Codify, if anyone builds a monument to themselves,  OFF WITH THEIR HEADS.

Sports cars, luxury watches, no problem, Everyone gets to drive it, it'll blow up in about a week, but we'll build more.  But you build a million sports cars just to sit in rich guy's garages, as is the current system, That's WASTE.

If we do no fix the ideological flaws in human society, no form of government will work, it always defaults to the SAME-thing.  Oligarchy.

What's the design choice for using cream/beige? It looks fine with it, but if you're basing it off of Jeanne Alter doesn't it make more sense for it to be white? Without any novelties it really doesn't seem like a Jeanne Alter set. For a weeb set, why is the hiragana set an EXTRA purchase and not the latin set?

Has anyone else noticed missing keys from their sets or just me?

not saying it's just you but i got one of those. iirc one key was in a small zip bag somewhere, if i am not confusing it right now. been a few weeks.

Why the retro style?

We live in a fast-paced world of ever-advancing technology, but sometimes, we need to pause and reflect on the past. We believe that a keyboard is not just an input device but a work of art. We believe that compared to modern mechanical keyboards, retro-style keyboards clearly have a more unique appearance and tactile sensation. Whether for viewing or use, they can provide a better overall user experience.

Whenever I hear some moron say "small government" as if that is something good, I shake my head in disbelief.

This is the modern world - we NEED a whole lot of BIG  THINGS and who is supposed to do that?

Do they imagine that a "private bridge company" would do a better job?

If we could, I think we should make "small government" mean something else than what greedy interests are trying to sell to us as a quick solution.
In my opinion, we need both big central and small local governments: to both do great things and to give people more local control: more democracy, not less.

Keyboard Keycaps / Re: Suggestion for a ISO keyboard with Teal color

If you can pick up a decent Peacock Blue Lynn Montage around $200-250 (perhaps $300-350 if it looks great in pics) I would consider that a fair deal. I wouldn't pay more since the qc isn't the absolute greatest, the anodization can have splashing/banding on the bottom, top/bottom mismatch and so on. Mine is cerakoted and while the finish looks fine, the board has a few machining dings, one of which is visible inspecting from the side as well as a bit of acne (pitting) on the back :'( I'll excuse it for the time being since the price I paid for mine was good for a 3 Kg TKL despite the flaws making it a C-Stock, or B-stock if I'm being extra generous.
Matrix has a much nicer Peacock finish, but good luck finding a 1.2 under $700, especially with that finish.
The Zoom65 also has a teal color, but it seems a lot different than the finish you mention on the Iron.
A Suave Blue KFE is also something to consider.

I think Rhienfo has the right idea, get an affordable board and cerakote it teal if you can't find any teal boards you like within your price range.

Scratch all that, just saw you posted on the Cycle8 which also has a Peacock finish, it might just blow everything else out the water in terms of price/quality ratio, especially if you value finishing quality.
