No one bid; guess people don't want standard model Ms anymore.

Weird.  The pics for that listing were shot in '07 according to the camera's timestamp.  That may have turned off some potential buyers.

This is just a great example of a badly labeled auction, nothing more.

No one searching for Model Ms would have come across it, and the people looking for steals would pass it by because it's not.

People are more interested in Ms than ever right now, standards included.

I've spent so much money buying everything but the thing I wanted: clicky ALPS.  I got two rare Montereys, cloned Cherries, and the like, but all I want is clicky ALPS.  I think I finally may have found one but if this one isn't it I'll break down and get the DSI keyboard now that it's below $50.

The price on Ms has come up a little bit. I got mine just after Christmas for just under $20 shipped, and everyone treated it like a meh deal. Now the cheapest ones on eBay are ~$30 shipped. And yes I know you can find them IRL for free or <$10, but I haven't come across any down here because vintage electronics don't tend to survive multiple hurricanes.
