There are also what looks like three Cherry G80-3000 or G81-3000 boards in there, and one that looks like a Cherry rubber dome. There are also a few NMB rubber domes that are not so bad: light touch but bottom out hard.
The most common type seen is a mushy HP rubber dome though.

What the heck.. I'm bidding 1€ for it. If someone wants to bid higher, then go ahead,  but please post here if you do, or I may bid against you.
I'm thinking that 30 € (including s/h to Sweden) for a Model M and the chance that some may be Cherry G80 is not that bad.

And then ... only half of the keyboards are in the picture.

I have been in contact with the seller. The seller says that there are no IBM keyboards in the lot. (WTF!?)
I have sent him/her a version of the picture in the auction that has the two IBM keyboards clearly marked and asked for clarification.

I have asked the seller to look again and made my point that the auction is not valid if the image does not reflect what is in the lot.

I was also interested in MX-compatible key caps, including G81-3000 bottom row. (I dislike the one-unit wide Ctrl keys on my G80-1800 with windows keys) Lasered or double-shot does not matter.

Still no reply from the seller.
Anyway. I have been outbid. I wish the other guy luck.

I don't know yet if I am going to congratulate you or not. That depends on what is in there. :-)
The big part of the cost is the shipping, and you got it for almost a third of what I would have had to pay.

Please let me know if there is a Peerless, Oki or clicky Monterey keyboard in there. (I know ... fat chance)

I received the boards today.  Guess which one WAS NOT included in the shipment....:suspicious:

Two Compaq boards with white alps and keys like bananas.  Rest was trash.

Anger.  I feel a negative feedback on eBay might be appropriate unless the seller compensates me.  What do you guys think?  It was a bit of a risky auction but it appears he clearly tried to dupe bidders by placing the Model M in the picture.

2.) Sollte das nicht geschehen: Rücktritt nach § 232 BGB.

EDIT: Das ist ja ein gewerblicher Händler, deshalb kannst du dir den ganzen Kram auch sparen und (als Verbraucher) gemäß § 355 den Kauf widerrufen.

I was afraid of this. I'd say that you should report him to eBay!

I had told the guy that he would have to close the auction early if the picture did not match. He can not plead ignorance in this case. I am willing to testify this if necessary. My eBay handle is "darthlars75".

I would recommend to just talk to the seller. Maybe they just messed up the pictures, and are so deeply sorry and will for sure take back the whole load of crap and refund all costs.

I would rather not have to return them. They came in two heavy boxes which will probably cost a lot to send.  Then I will need to fight to get that money back too...

I will write and explain that one from the photo was mistakenly left out of the shipment and could he please send it. If he wants to bau a bunch of scheiss then I will need to get nasty.

Well, by law he would be required to cover all of your expenses, but you're right, very often these guys simply refuse to pay...
