On a recent visit to France, I had the chance to visit the "Bibliothèque National de France." There were some computers setup for public access. One thing that attracted my attention was each station had a Cherry keyboard. Needless to say that I had to try them. While I knew I was not typing on a rubber dome keyboard, I also knew it was a feeling I never felt before. So, I had to do what every keyboard enthusiast would do: pulled a keycap. Sure enough, it was a Cherry MX Black keyboard. It's not a keyboard I would enjoy typing for a long period of time. The keys were stiff and linear.
