The issue is if people are willing to buy a board for more than GB price, you could just receive the board and resell.

What do you use normally?

HHKB layout is my favorite and used it for a good while when my HHKB was my daily driver, but even now most of my boards have some sort of resemblance to the HHKB layout.

If you're coming from TKLs or layouts that have F-keys, you'll obviously have to get used to using the function layer for hitting F-keys. Lack of arrow keys is something to get used to too.

But really the only big things that you'll have to deal with are the repositioning of Control and Backspace. Honestly having Control where Caps Lock was is great for me, since it doesn't require you to exert force with your pinky to hit Control or do some weird twisting of your fingers to hit combinations. Backspace will definitely take some getting used to (provided you actually move it to the \ position), but I love it for reducing travel.

HHKB backspace is my favorite. The lack of arrow keys has me teetering on dumping the layout, just too annoying for what I use keeps for and I never got used to it. If they don't play a major role in ones regulae use though, I think it's a great layout.

coming from 96-key. i dont use f-row very often, and i am accustomed to using fn and firmware layers. i think the biggest adjustment will be a missing numpad, but i suppose i could use a standalone.

IIRC the last Duck I ordered just showed up without warning. The same day I got my two 1080 FTW's in the mail. It was a good day.
