Thanks for the smooth GB LZ!

If you want to keep the LZ brass clean I'd recommend not doing fingerprint checks, hand oils very quickly tarnish!

Lemon juice + baking soda mixed to a toothpaste consistency to clean brass ;)

And for others wanting to protect, a common method is covering the exposed side of brass with an iPad screen protector (or maybe two with those huge weights!)

almost looks glossy at that angle.

I wish this board / most korean boards would lower their damn angle.

I would have totally bought this if it wasn't so high

Angles for Kustom points! lol
Never had an issue with an angle- don't you use a wrist rest or palm rest?

definitely not matte like a 456gt

im used to typing at whatever angle a HHKB is at. this will be an adjustment for sure.

wrist rest doesn't have an effect on typing angle because you're not resting on it during typing

Ah, I see, that makes sense.
I'm also used to HHKB angle as I use it at work, as well as Unicorn X3 (one of the Kustom keyboards that wasn't available in the states), but I am fine with both..

I guess there's one way to find out.

I mean, the tracking says that it has been delivered. Like it's done, it's there. So either the korean tracking stops right there and it goes its merry way to my doorstep without further tracking, or some lucky punk got my keyboard by accident.

I commonly switch between G80-5000, Topre, Model M etc.  OEM boards tend to not exceed 7 degrees.  Anything above that, why bother with a kustom kit when I have to spend $500+ I will just wait til another GB comes along with a realistic angle

Gotcha.
Well, I'll see how I like it or dislike it.  In the unlikely event that I cannot get used to the angle, I can always sell mine. :)

My Duck Viper has 11° I believe and I have no issues with it. On the other end of the spectrum, my Orion v2 is about 6° with the new feet I bought, still no issues to adapt fairly quickly.

Moar potatoes

If you want to keep the LZ brass clean I'd recommend not doing fingerprint checks, hand oils very quickly tarnish!

Lemon juice + baking soda mixed to a toothpaste consistency to clean brass ;)

And for others wanting to protect, a common method is covering the exposed side of brass with an iPad screen protector (or maybe two with those huge weights!)

Thanks for the tip! It came with the fingerprints though, so I'll just take it as a blessing from LZ god himself.

And the black looks so sexy

Buy a can of brass lacquer for $20. That's the proper way to protect brass.

Also a pain to remove and will affect the look. But yeah, you can get satin or gloss finishes I believe.
